I don't blame him for asking the question. I remember there used to be a fairly well-populated message board just like this one for people seeking to develop psychic and psychokinetic abilities. Everyone was completely serious about it. Psipog, I think it was called...

Anyway, yeah, lucid dreaming is real.

It depends what you define "real" as.
      Are you real?

And what, exactly, does lucid dreaming have to do with supernatural bullshit?

For someone who's never experienced lucid dreaming, it might as well be the same thing. Lucid dreaming and telekinesis both require a lot of practice without seeing any sort of immediate results. The only difference is that you eventually do see results when you practice LD.

Lucid dreaming has been scientifically proven.

Until relatively recently, lucid dreaming was considered something to be more or less lumped with telekinesis, telepathy, ghosts, aliens, etc.
This despite 60% of kids experiencing at least one lucid dream (don't recall where I saw that stat in the first place)
It was only a few decades ago that scientists finally managed to get some concrete evidence of lucid dreaming.

For the OP: when you lucid dream, you still have control of your eyeballs. They used this to form experiments that proved that the person was aware, and physiologically sleeping/dreaming.

To fend of any "Help! i have to get out of here, there killing me mentally".... It is possible and real, and no...these people are not insane...just been sleeping to little and in the need of some giggles i guess ...to all here ... And to add tyo the confusion and hysteria "WHERE is MY red BALL, has any one seen my red ball with glasses and a carrot!"
