I'm already a pretty light sleeper, in any given night (where I get at least 6 hours of sleep) I will wake up every 1 to 2 hours. Usually I just turn over and I'm out again. But this particular night was very strange. I never usually drink caffeine, especially before bed. But this time I did, I drank a bit of Coke and fell asleep. I started to have vivid dreams almost immediately. I had about three back to back (that was interrupted by me waking up), I can't even remember what they were about. By the 4th one I was starting to become lucid. In the middle of my dream I became aware that I was dreaming (because I was fishing on a lake and walking across water). Once I became aware, I started to spin around and take in my surrounding (which coincidentally was a method described on this site to preserve the dream) and smiling from the excitement. Then the dreamscape changed to an open field. And I remember (and I'm smiling just thinking about it) the image being the most clear, the most vivid image I had ever "witnessed" in my life, much clearer than I could ever see with my eyes. Then I woke up again and this time I had sleep paralysis. I have had it a couple times in the past, so I didn't panic, I knew it would go away - I just concentrated on moving something and when I did I was free. I immediately went back to sleep and sure enough I went right back into another dream. I can't remember this dream but I woke up inside my dream! I even remember waking up smiling from knowing I just had another lucid dream. I sat up in my bed, everything in my room was exactly the same and there was nothing that would tell me it was wrong, except for two minor things. My computer desk was an L style instead of a regular desk and the shade was ever so slightly darker and my bedroom light was on. I just stared right at my desk for the longest time, and I finally decided go turn the light off and when I stepped off the bed, I woke up for real this time, again with sleep paralysis. I concentrated on kicking my leg for about 20 seconds and finally I was free, I began to do some reality checks - like looking in the mirror and trying to feel things.

This was by far the strangest dream or series of dreams I have ever had in my life, and I just wanted to share my experience(s) with you.
