      2nd Lucid Dream!

I finally got my 2nd lucid dream yesterday, far more extensive than the dark room and cut-off 1st one!

I was at my school. I don't remember what really happens. But then, I arrive at a school, but I realise too late it was the wrong one. But then, I was like:
"Wait... that's not possible in life. I must be dreaming!" I then set off to do the reality check as I did before, but it wouldn't work. However, at a moment, the 'teacher' said: "Oh my gosh! His finger went through his hand!" I set off to attempt things, but to no avail. I returned home, and I tried flying through the window, but I just ended up smashing my face in it. I tried many other lucid things, but they just would not work for me! However, time seemed to change when I hid my digital clock and showed it again. I tried something at school, and it involved seeing if I could get my hand through someone. I think that thing worked. But the dream ended a while after.
However, I don't like how I was limited to my dream control. I mean, I couldn't go through the window, even though I imagined it to be pass-through, and when I tried to fly, I only glided down the stairs and through the hallway, and stopped. D:

Any suggestions to make my next LD better, and while we're at it, suggestions to make lucids more frequent?

Read the Dream Control tutorial. Even for very experienced LDers it has a lot of good information. My ability to control my dreams changed drastically after I read and understood that tut!

Better dream control also comes with experience. Read the tut, apply it, and relax. It will come.

Have you tried any techniques or do you just rely on DILDs? Trying some could help you get lucid more often.
