Thread: LD#3,did state checks for first time,some humorous content.

I'm having some fun now, had a very long LD last night, i was exhausted by the end of it. Part way in i am on the rooftop of a tall skyscraper, i decide to hop from rooftop to rooftop matrix stye. But then i become a little afraid, the LD was so vivid, i look down, i am 60 storeys up at least, am i really dreaming? Better be sure before i jump , so i do a state check on my digital watch! First check, its normal, like 11:20 or something. Second look, the numbers are all mixed up and jump around 99:56, and wierder. I have done my first state check in a LD! Very cool, i proceed to jump across the roofs. Later in the same dream I'm in a bar flying around my usual 5 feet off the ground, i have trouble in my LDs of getting higher off the ground than this. Nobody in the bar seems to notice or care that i am flying around. I fly over to the bartender and ask him with a grin on my face, "Got anything to get me higher?" I am amused by my own joke , but he just stares at me blankly like i am an idiot and says "huh?", so i smack him on the head and say: "what good are yah?" and fly off. Funny how you do things in LDs you would never do in RL. It was a blast . I did at least 6 state checks throughout the dream and managed to stay lucid for a long time, another major milestone for me, hope i can keep it up in the future...
