      Smile Flying!

Just last night, I was able to obtain lucidy in one of my dreams when I noticed my friend had an object that he didn't own in real life. Then, it hit me, I'm DREAMING! From there I started experimenting with dream control. After a few simple thing, I decided I wanted to try flying. I repeatadly thought to myslef. "I belive I can fly, because this is a dream." After saying that numerous times, I leaped into the air and... I was flying! It was very vivid and a whole lot of fun. Unfortunatley, a few minutes later I fell back into my dream and lost lucidy.

Has anyone else used a method similar to mine for dream control? I find it works extremely well for me. By strongly believing that I can do something in a dream, it usually just happens! Its great!

Well, i was always a natural flyer. Sometimes i just think about flying, and i fly, some times i just leave the ground and fly away without thinking about it. But you did the right thing, you believed, you believed that you can fly and you flew. I think that's the key to being able to fly, you have to believe 100% that you can fly. That's a good technique to that you did. The only times i flew in dreams, was either when i wanted to have fun, or when i was in danger. Like a few weeks ago, i was at this school's playground, and some people were outside, and there was this black dobermin? pincher, and i started to fly because i was a little scared of him, he looked like this dog that i knew in real life years ago, then as i was floating in the air, the dog kept jumping up high, and almost bitting me. I knew it was a dream, but i was still afraid. I should have used this one technique in this forum where it talks about, things exist in your dream because you give it attention. I forgot where it was. Next time i'm in danger in my dream, i'll try to remember that technique, and just look away from the danger, and maybe it'll go away.
