Question Managed a Three Hour lucid dream with no practice.

I just joined this forum today after seeing the website about a day ago. I found the website and looked at the lucid dreaming stuff, and was like "Ok cool, Will try it tomorrow.".

      So I went to sleep.

It felt like I was waking up in the morning, I got out of bed and headed for the bathroom to brush my teeth. I look in the mirror and see a banana staring back at me.

So I suddenly realize I am dreaming.

I decide to test my powers out by going outside and jumping. I jumped normally, but then fell through the ground as if it was a hologram. Then I started flying up and around and around until I got dizzy. I land on the ground and decide to go for an exam.

I sat at my desk and receive the exam papers, I look at the exam papers and they say BANANA BANANA BANANA for all questions. I blink and then they say APRICOT BANANA APPLE. Every time I blinked they said random fruits. So I just got up and left for the book store.

As soon as I started walking, I couldn't feel the ground. "Ok, So maybe that's a dream effect." I am thinking. What feels like 5 Minutes later, I look down and realize I am about 50 Meters off the ground. I then attempt to fly, And succeed. So I fly to the bookstore.

I go in the bookstore and suddenly turn into a snake for seemingly no reason. All the people around me turned into rats and I suddenly had an irresistible hunger for rats.

The rest I can't really remember. The events before this go on for 3 Hours, I remember very blurry parts after wards.

Post comments about my strange dream of fruits, snakes, and bookstores.

No offense but I find it hard to believe that you had 3 hour long lucid dream. At least personally I will wake up after my REM-period is over if I am lucid. Since you don't remember everything, it might be that you were lucid for a small time and it felt like many hours. Rest of the sleep continued as normal non-lucid sleep and when you woke up you feel like you would've been lucid very long. Your brain can trick you easily to think that you had hours long lucid dreams, I have felt that too

Otherwise, congratulations if that all happened
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

      Sounds highly unlikely.
3 hours of REM without good reason is pretty unheard of.

Yeh, but let's hear what the OP thinks of my reasoning.

I've had non LD dreams, 3 in a row, that felt like they lasted atleast a week but then I wake up and I've only been sleeping for an hour and a half. I'm sure it only felt 3 hours long
