      Your first LD

In my first LD, I was in my house at night. I spent the whole dream controling it with verbal commands. But every dc was doll-like. They just stayed in place and did nothing.

That's strange.. Word of advice thou, Some people say and I strongly believe that too much manipulation of dream space effect's clarity and eventually will mess up your lucid dreaming for you, If your gonna effect your dreams directly do it in a more passive way like a way in your mind that would be a plausible event, not just a command.

Yeh, i have experienced that on many occasions, and i usually put it down to my impatience at wanting something exciting to happen. They dnt stand and do nothing, but they do barely anything, they cant answer you and (for me) they always look confused I agree due to experience that when you start manipulating too much, you've pretty much ruined the dream and you will ultimately wake up because you get frustrated with nothing happening.
