Thread: Having to give dialog to DCs??

thats only because you probably wondered 'its trange that i can have a conversation with myself like thi' or something similar.

you would normally expect them to talk back to you, but now you DONT expect it, they dont talk back.

Try a vocal command like 'LIFE,NOW!' or 'SPEAK,NOW!' summin along those lines yah?

I know what you mean! I've spent many LDs asking DCs questions. Sometimes, I'll get lucky and they will respond. Most often though, they will just stand there and stare at me.

It seems the best conversations I have with them is when one of them comes up and initiates the conversation.

My DC's(sometimes I doubt if they are just that) are annoying, they are the opposite of lifeless shells. They have a life of their own, they are usually all over and do their thing or bother me with all sorts of stuff and they have plenty to say too(sometimes its annoying). And no I cannot stop them because I do not control =P I have heard alot of people saying similar things, maybe its part of refusing to control(and the inability to do so =P)..your world becomes more lively

I heard that Lucius! You were the one that encouraged me way back when to not attempt to control everything. It seems my coolest adventures happen when I just go with the flow and try to learn the lesson that has been presented to me.

Im with Lucius on this one. My DC's are so out of control and full of life. Im very rarely alone in my dream. Most of the time i dont mind in non-LD's because they are great company, but once im LD'ing they won't leave me be. I even had to resort killing a couple once(wish i hadn't though )

anyway thats weird . never had that problem before but then again i dont go talking to my DC's when I lucid dream. Try what damascus said and command them to be full of life. Or you can try to "heal" them and make them full of life. You can do this in any way (creating a healing light, injecting them with life, drinking water of life etc. whatever)
