      Glasses

Hey I was just wondering if there was anyone here that wears glasses irl but was able to take them off in an LD. If you have what was it like, could you see perfectly?
Or maybe you dont wear glasses and found yourself wearing them in an LD?
      Tell me

I don't even wear my glasses in dreams. I've tried using this as a reality check, but unfortunately, once I get into a dream, I'm suddenly completely unaware that I even need glasses, even when I'm lucid dreaming, the few times that does happen. There's only been once that I can remember that I was wearing glasses during a dream, and I'm fairly certain it's because I was wearing my glasses while asleep. I was sort of half-awake while dreaming, and in the dream, there was something in my room, but I couldn't see it because I didn't have my glasses on, so I put them on, then fell deeper asleep and went about my usual dream-stuff, but with my glasses on, which is unusual. When I actually woke up, I was confused because I could feel something digging into the side of my head. It turned out that during that first part of the dream, I had actually put my glasses on in real life. Except for in that dream, I think I see perfectly, but then, I've also had a couple of dreams in which I'm "blind" but I can still see. The way I remember dreams, everything is always blurry (more so than in real life when I have my glasses off though) and I've never been able to figure out if I actually dream that way, or if I just remember it that way.

Yeah, I too have no glasses in my dreams. Even if I did, there would be no point to them. This is nicely discussed in the two threads posted by Shift, if they're the one's I remember from not too long ago.

No. It means you see perfectly when you dream.

To find out if you wear contact lenses in your dreams: try taking them out the next time you're lucid.

I don't notice how bad my vision is unless I've had my glasses on that day. Not for a couple of hours, anyways. For instance, earlier today I left my glasses at home on accident. I didn't even realize for close to 15-20 minutes, and I didn't realized any difference for at least an hour or so. Now that I'm at home, and I have them on, I realize it. It would be hard for me to tell the difference, though.
