      Post your most amazing dreamscapes

I will admit, while i find superpowers and using lucid dreams for virtual porn very (extremely) enjoyable, my most memorable and amazing lucid dreams have been the ones where I have gone off to explore my surroundings and discovered some pretty amazing dreamscapes. Some of the places i've seen leave me in awe that my mind can even generate something so weird and profound. Some of the places I've witnessed:

      1) Looking down from the top of an impossibly high vertical cliff, I saw a series of tropical archipelagos covered in bright florescent vegetation. Huge beetle like creatures were moving very slowly grazing on the plants. Each one was about the size of a city block.

      2) I came across an abandoned native american village deep in the woods. While I got the feeling that no one had been there for a very long time, it was still perfectly intact. It was very sad and solem, and left me feeling as if it was somehow outside of time.

      3) Flying through a post apocalyptic city, touching down on the tops of ruined skyscrapers. All of the architecture was twisted and destroyed, while the sky was scorched black and filled with dark clouds.

      4) A giant futuristic japanese style temple situated in the middle of a 19th century european countryside. I proceeded to battle nijas inside with a katana (what else could one do when confronted with such a place )

These types of scenes only seem to come to me in lucid dreams, while regular ones are usually just places I have been before. I mentioned these to a friend who is more religiously inclined and he said it was the spirit world. Not sure why these are in my mind, but it seems to challenge the traditional Freudian interpretation of dreams somewhat. So what amazing dreamscapes have you discovered in your dreams (lucid or otherwise)?

Oh and perhaps this should go in Lucid Experiences, mods feel free to move.

well, i dont know how i got into this one -

i was floating in a black emptiness, like space. and in a cylindrical form, there were video simulation, video games, virtual reality games, all sorts of matrix programs in holographic boxes all facing inwards lined up as far as my eye could see. And all i would do was float through the cylinder and choose whatever caught my eye. I think i ended up stopping by on a computer and browsing the net. Although i can check ......... Yup 1/08.

I'm still working on having regular lucid dreams, but in one random DILD I had years ago I remember finding myself in a gigantic library, which continued as far as the eye can see, and in which the blocks of shelves continued up so high they faded into darkness. With my love of reading as great as it is, this really impressed me.

However, the dreamscape that had the biggest impression on me was in fact just a normal dream. It was a grassy hill in the middle of a forest, topped by a steel tower (like the ones that carry power lines), and although it was beuatiful, that's not anything unusual. But above was a crowd of people, with amazingly colourful robes and wings, flying around the tower. I had an iincredibly powerful sense of happiness with them there, and they even helped me to join them in dancing in the air.

Same as above, but i had a regular dream a while back, and this old japanese man said something to me about having to cross something and test myself, We were in a massive room height wise, and an archway that reached almost as high as the ceiling lead to the exit. Through this archway there was a river which was shallow enough to cross at the archways point. I only got to look at the scene ahead before waking up! It was a beatiful mystical eerie blue, and a kind of glittery fog hung over it. In the middle were these giant ostrich like creatures... And something else im not sure i can remember but it was magical Final fantasy 10 stuff
Controlling my feelings for too long,
Forcing our darkest souls to unfold,
      Pushing us into self destruction.

They make me dream.... Make me dream, your dreams.
They make me scream.... Make me scream, and scream.

1.) the void - a place of nothing but blackness in all directions

2.) blank dreamscape - a place of nothing but pure whiteness in all directions

3.) hell - Riding a dragon over a destroyed city, broken highways, broken skyscrapers, fires dotted around, all over chaos. The sky was black and it had this very hellish touch to it.

4.) labyrinth - started out on some sort of flying city, i flew away from it and was surrounded by nothing but blue sky and puffy white clouds, i decided to freefall down to the surface and it took forever! the atmosphere of this planet was so thick i just kept going past layers and layers of white puffy clouds until finally i reached near the bottom it got real dark and ended up in a place that was like a labyrinth. It contained all these eqyptian artifacts, and if I tried to leave the building i would just end up in the same building again.

5.) running hills - flying over a landscape consisting of nothing but beautiful green running hills and a nice blue sky.

6.) another planet - (saved the best for last) so I'm on another planet totally awestruck by the view of a lake surrounded by forest, the sunlight shimmering over the water, two planets in the sky, one was similar to our moon, the other a purple planet with rings, there was aurorae in the sky and it was dusk so the clouds were all colourful with a beautiful sunset. For the following weeks after this dream I could just think back to it and straight away feel at peace.

That one sounds cool. Were all the trees earthlike trees, or was it weird alien foliage?
