Running out of ideas for my dreams!

Hey guys, been a while since I last visited.

Anyway I'm experiencing about 0-2 LD's a week normally, which I Think is a pretty good amount, usually I just take over normal dreams since it's too much work behind setting the clock early in the morning and do that routine

So I've been doing this for about 8 months now and I'm kinda running out of ideas to do in my dreams since I'm pretty used to the usual stuff

So I thought maybe you guys have some ideas of what to do? whats fun, exciting etc?

In my last lucid I went through a wall and ended up falling in pitch black darkness for a while which was pretty exciting, the same feeling you feel when you're about to fall asleep and feels like your falling backwards.

      Any ideas for LD's appriciated

      Try summoning a catgirl!
      Blow up a planet!

Try inverting your dream's colors. That might be a challenge!

This always surprises me. I mean how can people run out of ideas of what would be exciting to do, when you can do anything??

What you need to do is start watching more action/fantasy/sci-fi/anime/adventure flicks, and reading more books.

I mean, you can do anything.

      Fight a Tyrannosaurs, bare-handed.
      Snowboard down an avalanche.
Climb on top of an invading, alien spaceship, rip out the wiring, and stand on top of it as it crashes to the ground.
Sword fight against an army of machine-gun wielding mercenaries.
      Explore a haunted forest.
      Strap on a rocket pack.
      Walk into a tornado.
Be Batman and battle a super villain.
Turn into a Super SaiyaJin and destroy a city.
      Explore a sunken ship.
Journey to the center of the earth.
Ride a motorcycle into oncoming traffic. (Did this. Highly recommended. )

Shit...the possibilities are endless. I don't even see how someone could run out of ideas.

Lucky you, lol, I mean I haven't even gotten my 2nd LD and you've already run out of ideas! Anyways, there are so many possibilities in an LD that I didn't think you'll run out that soon. Did you try to build your own city or tear one down? All the different superpowers and different sports from something like hockey to climbing mountain Everest.

Edit: Just noticed that Oneironaut posted a list. Just try to do those, basically make up some wild adventure and go through it

The late BillyBob always wanted to make a dream plane for himself. As in, an intricate parrallel universe where he could have relationships with consistently appearing DCs and he could embark on epic quests that would spill over into the next LD that he chose to enter his dream plane. That would be a neat endeavour.

By my calculations using that average you gave, you've run out of ideas after about 32 LDs. Seriously.

Day by day, you must think, many times, "if only I could do that," so do whatever you don't get a chance to do irl. It's one of the main benefits of LDing.

I really like getting dream ideas from movies. For instance in the movie hellboy the bad guy has two swords and when the police shoot at him he parries the bullets, deflecting them back into the cops. That would be fun.

      heres something random...
360 vision, like on waking life.
eating stuff, then tell us what it tastes of.
or learn to do something in a dream and see if you can do it in real life.
      or fly through time!

      that would be good!

Maybe you've actually got too much control over your dreams. Maybe you should let you dreams flow more, and see where your subconcious mind takes you. Here's an example:

      Hej Billy!
One thing I want to try is to participate in some of my favorite TV-shows and movies. On the top of the list is Heroes, Smallville, Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter.. The list goes on... Every episode is around 40 minutes in those series, so I have a couple hundred hours of material to dream through

BillyBob is dead, yes. The guy who was behind BillyBob is still alive last time I checked. But one of the guys who helped me tremendously, (and many others,) in understanding lucid dreaming by sharing his vast knowledge on the subject allegedly changed his password to something random-gave up LDing-and said goodbye to DV during a chat session. [I was present.] So his DV alias is gone.

Anyway, another idea is to ask a DC what the biggest problem in his world is and then go on an epic quest to solve global warming or the forclosure on said DCs house. (Take that Bono!) But seriously, you might get some crazy quests or suggestions of adventure that you don't have to consioussly come up with.

He was in chat about 3 weeks ago.

The Task of the month forum should give you plenty of ideas. :]

      !!!
Apparently he didn't screw with his password! Or he had it emailed to himself. I am so out of the loop. This is what happens when you don't post actively for a couple months... Does he LD again now? Is he planning on coming back?

EDIT: Oops, sorry for de-railing the thread a bit. If anyone knows you might be better to just PM me.
