      My first LD!!!!!

I never get to sleep more than 5 hours a night. I've also been very frustrated why I can't ever have a lucid dream, even though I've been trying for months.

So I slept in a little bit longer (because I could). Naturally my body woke me up after 5 hours, but I sat there and laid back down in bed trying to fall asleep. Within about 20 minutes, the next thing I know I'm wondering why there is a door on a wall that is bigger than it's opening (it can't close) and I tried performing a few reality checks. Most of them failed, but the breathe one worked, and BAM LUCID DREAM!

I only lasted about 30 seconds. It wasn't like I thought it would be, because it actually felt real and I remember thinking to myself how cool it was. I tried stabilizing the dream by rubbing my hands together, but that didn't work. The next thing I new I was awake and pissed off!

It's amazing how napping works for lucid dreams, and I only wish I could do this more often. I just wish I could DILD more often and skip the accidental RC phase.

My problem is that unless something is out of the ordinary, I won't do a RC. My dreams are usually pretty realistic, so I have a hard time finding out that something is out of place.

Congratulations! That is some weird dream logic, with the kooky sized door. That sounds like a dream sign I would have, since I draft building plans all day.

Lets hope this is the first of many lucid dreams to come.

Good job! Keep practicing those Reality Checks and you will bag many LDs in no time.

Congrats! Guess you don't need to try DMT for better dreams now.

But I will try vitamin B. It's been a few days and I haven't had any other lucids, but I will be trying the WBTB method if possible this weekend.

Good luck with it, I'll be trying a WBTB/VILD tonight and I'm debating whether or not I should pop 100 mg B6 when I wake up.
