I never get to sleep more than 5 hours a night. I've also been very frustrated why I can't ever have a lucid dream, even though I've been trying for months.

So I slept in a little bit longer (because I could). Naturally my body woke me up after 5 hours, but I sat there and laid back down in bed trying to fall asleep. Within about 20 minutes, the next thing I know I'm wondering why there is a door on a wall that is bigger than it's opening (it can't close) and I tried performing a few reality checks. Most of them failed, but the breathe one worked, and BAM LUCID DREAM!

I only lasted about 30 seconds. It wasn't like I thought it would be, because it actually felt real and I remember thinking to myself how cool it was. I tried stabilizing the dream by rubbing my hands together, but that didn't work. The next thing I new I was awake and pissed off!

It's amazing how napping works for lucid dreams, and I only wish I could do this more often. I just wish I could DILD more often and skip the accidental RC phase.

My problem is that unless something is out of the ordinary, I won't do a RC. My dreams are usually pretty realistic, so I have a hard time finding out that something is out of place.
