freaky dream

hi folks, i stubbled upon this forum while googling. I think it's fun to share dreams so here i go. i've had this really freaky dream last night. I remember i was in a desert and really thirsty. All of a sudden I arrived at this gas station that looked like one of the scenes from a cow boy movie with hay balls flying... so anyways this gas station had a cactus that looked very slimy. For some odd reason, i recognized this cactus as some sort of rare cactus that you had to suck to drink the water. The cactus was gushing out water. It was very slimy so I didn't want to put my lips on it but I was very thirsty so i was about to go for it. Just then this young man stops me and yells that i need to pay for it. Then all of a sudden this turns into a mob like negotiation. He says i'll give you water for $15. I say, "deal". He guides me to the gas station carries me on his back while he flies up to the top of a pump station. He had to press a button which was way on top. This guy was clearly skilled in martial arts. Then he takes me back down softly. Then suddenly he's alert. somebody has stolen something and ran off of the gas station. So he quickly gets in his car and chases him. The thief turns left but the martial arts dude turns right. The martial arts dude knows that there is only one exit and that the thief will end up driving towards that exit which is where he will meet him. So he does outsmart the thief and drives to stop the thief's path. he is about to crash into the thief's car. I think he's going to win. But then I can't really see what is going on because the scene takes place behind the brick walls. Through the window I see that the thief is actually killing the martial arts guy. I get really scared and duck down so he doesn't see me. Nervously, i reach into my pockets to take out my iphone and dial 911 but I don't have the courage to even do that. I try to find an escape plan and this is when I wake up. Really illogical. I don't know how this kinda dream happens... what does it mean? Before I fell asleep, I remember being very frustrated with c++. I was trying to start learning it and couldn't even get hello world to work. The thirsty part may symbolize my "thirst" or "hunger" for my goal. I have this dream that i want to accomplish and the thirsty part may have played a role there.. I donno, but my dreams are always fascinating!

Ahaha! Don't be so disturbed about what your dreams means. Alot of dreams, cause I can't say all, just don't mean anything at all. I myself experimenting alot of Totally random dreams that doesn't mean anything. I was at first really sceptic about all these non-sense dreams to. As my friend said "Dreams are like all of your Life experiences in a blender, and you watch the results" And Try to don't post to much of your dream here there is a section which is called Dream Journal where you can post all your dreams! Since, obviously we don't want an overflow of dreams in this section . *Who the hell am I to tell you such things? I guess I'm just a damn new member who wants to keep this forum clean* And BTW Welcome to DV.

Heyy. My name is Sean and I just wanted to give you a little hint with C++...Did you try the command "using namespace std;" WITHOUT the quotes? put it under the "#include<strings>" or whatever. Also, welcome!

haha yeah... i suppose I over analyze things too much. Maybe I watch too many movies as for c++ what i was trying to do was compile a program that says hello world. It was difficult to get it working on mac ...nothing to do with the actual code. But glad to see another programmer here
