      Smile Finally! Another vivid LD!

      I just woke up an hour ago from a really vivid LD, one of the best I've had. I haven't been pursuing LDing seriously anymore until recently, and so this recent LD is very welcome and refreshing. I'm also glad I didn't derail a perfectly beautiful LD into a sex dream, even though I had the urge at first. Since it deals with a lot of personal people and places, I'll just list who and what they are before telling the dream.

      Awty = my old school, went there from 3 years old to 8th grade (but it continues to 12th grade)
      HSPVA (PVA) = my current high school (I'm a junior)
      Anna = sophomore at PVA
      Sander, Arpy = juniors (were in my class) at Awty
      Jorge, Shira = close friends in my class at PVA

      Now, then...

      I was talking with Anna at Awty, and she confessed to me, saying I could like anybody if I wanted, but she liked me, and she walked away. I was pacing wondering what to respond, as I didn't really like her like that, when I saw some weird friends of hers tailing me. I walked to the courtyard area of the school, where the followers were distracted, partly by the International Festival going on, and I was free. While walking to the gym, I saw Shira and realized she was back from her Jewish Camp. I became part of a group walking to the gym, where Arpy said that there was something weird going on. I told her that it was just the festival going on.

      People started asking if I was wearing glasses at the moment, and as I felt my eyes I didn't feel any and told them I was wearing contacts (as I could see crystal clear). But then as I rechecked, I felt glasses, and as we walked into the locker room I understood that I was dreaming! I didn't let myself be fooled by the realistic look of the environment, and even though my nose RC wasn't acting correct, I stuck with it and with motivation from Sander it proved eventually I was dreaming. I had at first considered having another sex dream, but deemed it a waste and I asked Jorge and Shira to come with me, and I ran out the locker rooms and behind them, and with my focus on Venice I jumped straight through the wall to teleport.

      After a brief moment of dream stability dropping, I regained control and looked around at the astounding dreamscape built from the idea of "Venice." I had never been to Italy and had only seen pictures, but my brain formed an almost fairytale rendition that was beyond the beauty of anything in real life. Jorge and Shira popped out of the wall after me, and we waked across a beautiful bridge over a crystal blue lake, and looking around at the horizon, the view was breathtaking. Shira had changed to more of a younger version of a mix of beautiful women from my past, but I went back and held this "Shira"s hand.

      As we three walked across the bridge, we reached an area atop a wall where you could see a dark and polluted city underneath and stretching to the horizon. "Shira" got unsettled, and worried about the people back at Awty, but I told her they were fine, and that it was just a part of my dream and that nothing would change there as long as I didn't will it to, and I hugged her around the waist. We slid down the wall into the dark city, and saw people smiling eerily in cars. As I walked around, the city became lighter, but I got tired of the city and wanted to go somewhere else. I considered New York City, but thought it would be too much like the city I was in right then, and that being there in real life would make it less magical. On a whim I decided to just jump into the world of Kirby Air Ride, even though I hadn't ever owned the game or played it more than one or two times. I asked Jorge and "Shira" to follow me as I leapt through a random wall, but they didn't this time.

      I appeared underneath a sheet with small stars next to me, and worried I might have woken up. Attaching the stars to my feet, I got out from underneath the blanket and saw that I was in a futuristic city area, and in third person I flew around on a big star like in the game. People started to connect to my "multiplayer server", but after a while they left and I decided that I wanted to go somewhere beautiful. I was at this point in third person view in a generic shooter game, so I switched to first person view (it felt like hitting a F12 key or something), and jumped through the wall with "Assassin's Creed 2 Venice" in my mind, wanting to experience a more realistic version.

      I appeared at the beginning of the E3 demo of Assassin's Creed 2, and it was pretty much like the Venice there, except due to my diminishing lucidity I couldn't enjoy it to the fullest. I completely lost my lucidity as I got sidetracked in watching a situation (a mix of Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts, and the anime Code Geass) where a group were creating SOLDIER one-winged angels by supercharging what I can only describe as a heart. They were hoping to bring back Princess Euphy through this creation of life.

      I woke up soon after, and jumped on the computer to record as much I could, though the beauty and detail of the locales greatly diminished when I woke up. Instead of recalling how detailed the environments were, though, I could recall my own feelings concerning the environments, with my memory of experience proving they were extremely vivid. My lucidity had started falling ever since reaching the overlook of the dark city, but the beauty of the fictional Venice in my mind and of the overlook of the dark city is something I could experience with all my consciousness, and it was really great. I can't wait for my next adventure, and hopefully this next time I'll have a plan (other than sex) so that I can make full use of this sandbox in my mind.

      On another note, I find it neat how the DCs actually made me lucid, by pointing out the thing about the glasses. I was being stubborn at first in this dream, but they continued to help me reach lucidity. I hope this happens more often, that was really cool and helpful!

      Haha, it's okay if you don't read the whole thing. I was just posting my whole experience just in case someone might want to know what I did.

      Yeah, I hope to be having more vivid LDs soon. I used to be decent at LDing, getting moderately low level ones pretty consistently (a few a week, though they weren't any good). The high level lucid ones are the cream of the crop, though, of which I've had relatively few... Maybe 6 or so. It's these I really strive for, and I am really happy when I get to have one. Of course, after a while, my memories of all LDs become vague, so I have to rely on what I felt inside the actual dream instead of what I feel afterwards.

      I'm out of practice now, and am doing quite horribly. My memory (both dream and reality) is really bad right now... I only remember dreams every once and a while, and none of them are lucid. Hopefully I'll be able to surpass the point I was at a year or two ago, as my hope is to be able to have almost perfect dream recall and to be able to be lucid (high level) at will. We'll see... I feel I'm starting well.
