I finally had one for the first time

Alright, A while ago I was obsessed with lucid dreaming, and would always read about it and always come on this forum and it was all I ever thought about. And every night I tried and tried to get one.

Well finally last night, months after I kind of started to not care anymore, I finally had one. So I decided to come back here and share it...

It started as a normal dream where I was trying to get across this weird wooden beam thing that stuck out far from a tall building, and was hanging miles from the ground. And I was extremely scared, and finally just stopped crossing and was just holding on for dear life. Then finally I realized its just a dream, and so I wasn't afraid anymore, and I just jumped off the thing.

So then on the ground I realized I really want to try and fly so I did. I kinda had trouble getting into the air a little, but to fix that i pretended to have a jet pack on, and pushed buttons with my hands and it helped. So I basically just flew around. it was so much fun.

Then after a while It kinda started to fade, like it kinda started to stop feeling real, and just feel like I am simply imagining it in my head. Then I finally woke up.

So I just wanted to share that, and a question: is it easier to have another one once you have one for the first time?

First off let me say i love your little SKEETER picture.. DOUG was classic show!!!!

As far as it becoming easier to have more lucid dreams.. It all depends on if you keep at it.. if you keep a dream journal, do reality checks, find your dream signs, your chances will for sure increase.. but if you just sit and wait like i did for a long time just recently, they will just come and go....

I will tell you this though, and i hope it gives you some inspiration.. now that you have crossed the line into Lucidity, you will (for the most part have them)

What i mean by that is.. before you become Lucid.. you never had a lucid dream before, you didn't even know what it felt like.. now that you know what being lucid feels like, you have gained the power to feel that again (become lucid).. even if you don't TRY to have lucid dreams, eventually down the road, you will just have one..it's almost like when you become Lucid for the first time, that your now able to have them... either by choice, or not...

      hope this helps

I agree Doug Funny is classic. Quailman is under rated for sure. Oh and congrats on the lucid dream thing.
