Yeah, I will definately try to focus on an object next time. I couldn't with this situation because when I realized it was fading, all I saw was black.
Thanks! Good luck to you as well!

You can have up to little or no control in the first lucid dream, and it can actually end fairly quickly in most cases....

To me, by what I read, it seems like you had your 1st Lucid Dream...

AWARENESS!

Thank you! This now makes me see that I was in a lucid dream (and gets me very excited).

Yes, I knew I was in a dream, but everything was really dingy, and I didn't have complete lucid powers, but I was aware, as my mind was racing with the thoughts of what I could do. I guess I was confused by waking up, and being unconfident, and thinking I was just dreaming it. I think I mistook that for it being not 100% clear.

Also which affirms it for me, is that I knew every detail when I woke up. And it didn't fade- I wrote it all down perfectly, in my dreamjournal, in retelling it to my brother, and to you. So now I'm anxious/excited to keep trying at it, and master the art.

Also, a quick question spiritofthewolf: How long have you been lucid dreaming? Are your dreams vivid and realistic like waking life now?

Thanks again!
