      Could someone explain?

I had a really weird dream one time and I was always confused about many things in the dream...

      Here it is.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I'm in my house and I see a guy with one eyebrow missing and I say "your eyebrow is missing" then I say "I must be dreaming!" Then I try to do some stuff in the house that I can't recall and some girl is trying to stop me and she's succeeding. I try to get out of the house by whipping the window with a belt and breaking it, I succeed and go outside, I can't recall this part, but I'm now in the house at some point. I go outside through the front door and try to get away from her by running down the driveway, I think to myself "I can run as fast as I want" so I try to run really fast but when I look behind myself, she's running really fast after me, then I'm thinking "Holy shit." Now she tackles me down to the ground. eventually I go to the house across the street and buy some kind of item called "kill her" or "get her" or something like that. I make my way back up the driveway and use it, then she's gone and I'm like "Yay get her! Come back" like I'm daring her to come and get some more. Then some weird bear monster came riding across the road on a green skateboard with something on his back, and I start to think that it might be the girl coming back. But He just crosses and I'm relieved. Now I make my way down the driveway and start running down the road and try to fly but get no luck, I try to jump with no luck. I now try to pull a jetpack out of my pocket and put it on but the jetpack didn't work. At some point I'm driving down the highway and I'm hitting a bunch of cars, I think the girl might have been in one of the cars because she wanted to stop me. Eventually I'm at a skatepark and I jump down a bunch of stairs.

First of all, what's with the way I became lucid? I see a guy with one eyebrow and that triggers my lucidity? You'd think that some random person whom I've never met being in my house would seem strange...

Also, why is this girl trying to stop me from doing what I want?

Why didn't my jetpack work? I had the belief that it would work, why wouldn't it? It's a jetpack! :O

Thanks in advance for your answers.

You didn't expect it to work enough. The idea of using a jetpack is farfetched, at the least. Try wishing it to work, or some other form of control such as snapping your fingers or flipping a switch.

      Good luck next time!
Haven't had a lucid dream in 3 years, and I'm looking to get back into it.

Why is it far-fetched? I knew it would work, but it didn't. o_O

If a jetpack wouldn't work, would a parachute possibly work?

Ah, perhaps because it was a mechanical device. Seems that things like that often fail in dreams.

And I'd say you got lucid out of luck, like, perhaps a short peak of consciousness during the REM cycle. And it picked up on that. It can be very brief.

      Don't give up!

Longest lucid dream was something over one hour.

for who can know those distant stars? like a life we have not lived, within the twinkle. like a universe we've not known, so far away.
