Right, hot on the heels of the major success of my last topic ("Should LDing be taught in schools?" - which afterwards I actually thought was a rather crap subject, but you lot obviously thought differently |

Tips For Newbies | What to do in an LD
Unless otherwise stated, views expressed in this post are not necessarily representative of the official Dream Views stance. Hell, it's probably not even representative of me.
Yea I doubt you could be 100% of yourself in a dream because your mind is doing other things to create the dream. Besides, you are sleeping after all. With that said there are ways around it. Your memory and logic didn't disappear, its just not working 100%. Like the example you gave, I bet you have forgot to do it just as many times. |

I plan out what I want to do ahead of time and think about it a lot. I also think about it before I go to bed. I guess I attach some sort of feeling to it and really want what I want to do. I usually memorize anything that I think my logic or memory could screw up. I memorize what I want to ask my dream guide, how I'm going to attempt to keep myself from waking up and my dream plan. I hope that helps. |

Dreaming permits each and every one of us to be quietly and safely insane every night of our lives.
-William Dement
I think that once you start dreaming, your brain is under the influence of natural drugs. |
