Thread: This Close To Becoming Lucid! >=[

Okay, so I was in a dream where I was at school, and I was in a huge fight with my friend Paige. We were punching each other in the classroom. Then it occurred to me: Reality Check!!
So I looked at the clock... It said 10:28.
I looked away, then looked back, and the clock still said 10:28.
I was fooled! I woke up right after that, and was so mad!!

Wall clocks with hands work fine in dreams, You need a digital watch for a reality check. Perhaps you should have tried something else like making something happen, just whatever comes to your mind at that moment. Normally you wont get the response you expect but whatever does happen will usually be crazy enough to give your mind confirmation it's indeed a dream.

Yeah, it was a digital clock, and was sure it would work...But it didn't.

Ive only had the time changed on me once, and it was with my cell phone, i became lucid, but i soon lost it. I had another one when i went for my cell phone again, and guess what? It was invisible. haha. And i was lucid.

Cell phones work fine, but i seem to lose control when i use a clock as an RC. The best one i think is the plugging nose, if you can breath when you plug your nose, your lucid haha. And its easy to perform in RL, people just think your scratching your nose, or something like that.

make sure you do that reality check like 5 times. It's like impossible for your brain to keep it in memory for that long if you're asleep.
you only glanced at it twice? *tease* a variant of this RC got me lucid last night!
I always do it 5 times. It's never failed me since I started doing it 3+, and it's the only one I use.
