I had my second ever false awakening today. I woke up in my grandparents house. walking out of the room I sleep in while there I came to the living room and it suddenly occurred to me to have a reality check. I plugged my nose and could breath. Usually this sends a strong wave of vividness in to my dream, but it didnt this time. possibly because I know my grandparents house so well that it was already very vivid. I decided to test if I was dreaming by attempting to make my hand go through the couch next to me. To my surprise...my hand didnt go through. When I touched the couch, I was even expecting it to go through. But instead I felt very vividly the texture of the couch...I then realized that if I walk back through the house to where I had woke up it should be different..at least a little bit...but it wasnt. |

thats the thing, I WAS lucid after the rcs, I just decided that a simple test would be to put my hand through the couch...then it didnt work lol. |

I think I am confused on your question then. Are you wondering why this fluke 'hand didn't go through the couch' thing happened even though you 'think' you were 'totally convinced' that your hand was going to go through the couch? If that's the case... |

yeah, thats more to what I meant. because Ive never not been able to do something once I went lucid before. Although this is like my 5th one. before my feats were flying, fast running, and making wolverine type claws come out of my hands. I suppose what I really should have done was go outside and see if I could fly. |
