      lcd or not

Hi all, I am new here and got turned on by a friend of mine to this site when talking over dream experiences. I have dabbled with astral traveling in the past and always been interested in my dream states but not sure how to clasify them. I am constantly dreaming and well aware that I am dreaming while at the same time feeling fully awake. I have several falling dreams where i never quite hit the ground but wake second before. I also have dreams or OBE flying around in the darkness. I'm not sure if I am actually controlling the events in my dreams but do know that when things turn bad I have a way of escaping or turning the tables or willing myself to wake up. I always remember my dreams and have several reaccuring dreams with different conclusions, mostly bettering them each time. Please help me define where I am in my dream state and how I may be better at understanding and controlling my experiences. Thanks and LOL

well...if your dreaming, and you know you're dreaming, that's lucid dreaming.

      hey welcome to the board

      thanks paperdoll.
I know I sound nieve but it has been a long time since I spoke to anyone of this using the proper terms of today. It has been called a lot of different things in different cultures/beliefs. I truely enjoy my dream experiences and have a lot of senses that become involved. If I have a night without dreaming I feel lost and not fulfilled.
As for astral traveling I think I sometimes do so without provoking and once in a while become scared that I may not return to the real (daily existence) realm, that I am out of control. I take these travels to heart whereas there are things to see, feel, sense that are otherwise unavailable in our daily lives but take heed when they do occur.

:yumdumdoodledum: :yumdumdoodledum: Welcome skyward! :yumdumdoodledum: :yumdumdoodledum:

Paperdoll is correct. Unfortunately I just know enough about astral travel to spell it. Luckily, there are others around here that know much more!

i think you just had your first dose of it skyward.

As I escape into my nebula of shooting stars, all I can think of is that night, we laid open under the stars, counting the stars that fell to earth,
Now just like my open heart falling to the surface and shattering, just so you know, the millions of pieces of shrapnel from my heart rip through my flesh like those words you said that night…-me[/b]

Sarcasm I can take, silence is deadly though.

No dreams last night just reality nightmares.
I hope today turns out better for one more day like yesterday will kill me.
Hope you all are doing better than I.
