Thread: My subconscious is a jokester.

Last night, when i was running away from a mob of friends with fresh fruit (i had watched Monty python earlier), i pinched my nose and breathed in. Realizing that this was a dream, i was able to hover just far enough away from the crowd to stand still for a moment without them getting close to me. Then i turned towards the crowd and started talking to myself. I said "Well, looks like i am in some deep shit for no apparent reason, better hop into my Chrysler!". After convincing my mind that i actually had a car, i watched as a warming glow came and went behind me, like something had appeared. When i turned around however, there was nothing to be seen, then when i kicked the air, i hit a car. My subconscious had made the car invisible , and i had no idea of how to make it work, so the mod almost pummeled me to death.

Anything similar for anyone else?

That doesn't mean your subconscious is a jokester, random things like that happen. Ok this is what's wierd. I finally succeed in making a door to another dimension, it comes out from the and I can't climb the wall so I climb up the rope (I was in gym class). I make a basketball, it does not bounce. I try to make a Scimitar (A large curved sword) and a tiny about 15 cm long curved dirk appears. I try teleport to the moon while I was in my room, space themed wallpapers appear in my room. MY SUBCONSCIOUS IS MOR OF A JOKESTER THAN YOUR'S, wouldn't you agree?

You cant force everything to happen in your dreams.

Sometimes, if I can't summon something the way I want it (like for me, the most recent thing I tried to do was go stealth like a rogue/assassin), sometimes I find I can exert enough control to pretend like it worked.

In the case of my stealth fail, I wasn't going invisible to my eyes, so I decided to creep past the bad guy, and he didn't see me... so it technically worked, even though it didn't look like I wanted it to.

I suppose if the car was there (despite being invisible) then I would just open my invisible door (it's exactly where I want it to be, even if I can't see it), and drive away.
