Exclamation Wow, this super odd thing that happened in my LD

This part is so completly strange, it was like my waking life was interfering with my dream. Bare with me: you know how when it is totally silent and you can hear noises in your head? That is exactly what I heard in my dream! I've never had that happen in any dream before....it was so weird! If someone could possibly explain to me how this is possible...please
do so! Has anyone else had this happen before ?
      I highly doubt it...
This is a quote from my DJ, I don't know who actually reads it to answer my question, see my experience....just read it and you'll know what I want.

If anyone else has an odd LD experience to share, do that as well.

      Yo,

Surely people have experienced this, especially when first starting a dream. You need to add more "detail" to your dreams, mostly it is the art of imagination. I often find myself reading a senseless book in my dreams probably because my mind is too tired to think up some nice imagery.

Try some visualisation exercises as you go to sleep, or DL a spoken book and listen to that.

      Good luck,

      FunK

Um...I am honestly trying to understand how this is relevant. I heard the noises that I do when it is silent in my dream, as if real life was interfering in my dream...Care to elaborate perhaps?

Can you be more specific about what noises you hear when it is silent? Why do you find it strange that a product of your mind (noises you hear in your head) would show up in a dream as well as while awake. Most people would find it more strange if it were to happen the other way around.

Although I don't see your particular experience as 'real life' interfering with your dream; that is possible and probably pretty common. I've heard real conversations that were going on around me while dreaming (both while lucid and not- often times the conversations direct what I dream about when I'm not lucid) and have even seen things from the 'real world' in a dream because I began to awake and my eyes came partially open, but I was able to regain control and remain asleep so the images were superimposed over the dream.

The ability to happily respond to any adversity is the divine.

If you're referring to a high-pitched tone, that is sometimes called "the sound of silence," and it can be easiest to hear, in waking life, when meditating, when other things fall away. It may be that you were approaching a state of meditation in your dream? (By the way, this sound is almost certainly produced by our bodies somehow and is nothing mystical, but since we almost never are still and quiet enough to perceive it, it often comes hand in hand with some sort of altered state, so it's associated with spirituality or mysticism.)

Once while awakening from a dream I felt a voice whisper from inside my skull; "Monuments are too messy that's is why I do brain work."

Well, I get what you guys are saying. But usually, at least for me, I find that there is something going on in the dream that is the main aspect which is mostly focused on, if you know what I mean? Like, you won't notice details in the scenery and there won't really be any thoughts going in your head that don't have to do with the dream (unless it's lucid I guess....but even then), so I just find this odd.

I don't find it weird in waking life, but I just found it odd that it showed up in my dream. Like, it's like breathing. You always breathe, but you never hear it in your dream, this is a similar thing.
