      Two WILDs in one morning

Hello all. So I've been trying lucid dreaming now for several years. I'm 22. Something I've always been determined to master is the WILD. I like a good challenge, and as many of you know, WILDs can be quite challenging. I've never had success with one beyond almost reaching sleep paralysis. Usually I'd get scared into submission.

It occurred to me recently, after having researched the topic some more, that I should perhaps try WBTB in conjunction with WILD. A few mornings ago I did just that and to my surprise, it worked. Twice.

My first dream began to take shape after I found myself falling. Falling like Alice in Wonderland. Appropriate, huh? I went from sleep paralysis to falling to landing in a river of chocolate. And that's where the dream really started. I've read that some of the lesser used senses in dreams are your sense of smell and sense of taste, but not for me. I had a heightened sense of smell and taste, so having found myself in a river of chocolate, I desired chocolate, and lots of it.

I was hesitant at first, but I reached out and tried to grab a ball of chocolate (there were all kinds of chocolates everywhere, it was like Willy Wonka's factory or something). My hands felt fuzzy and weird, like when you move them after they've fallen asleep, but eventually I had a grasp, albeit a weak one, on that ball of chocolate. I sunk my teeth into it and it was easily the tastiest thing I've ever eaten--or never eaten, if you want to get technical about it.

That dream soon ended and I woke up in bed, amazed. Determined to do it again, I restarted the whole process. This time, my transition was a colorful vortex. It was like being in a kaleidoscope tunnel. This dream was even shorter than the last, probably because I went and tried to have sex with someone. She passed on the request. She also happened to be my girlfriend in real life, so that was kind of sad in retrospect.

I faded in and out of lucidity with this dream, at times wandering in different environments, until finally I lost control. I have pretty good dream recall though so all of this has stuck with me.

I'm hoping I get better at this. I would like to be able to sustain them for longer periods.

Not to make light of you, but, when you said "or never-eaten", I laughed really hard out loud.

      Thanks, I needed that.

Nicely done! Gotta love that dream food! I've never had anything short of delicious in dreams.

Yeah, sounds interesting. Gonna try a proper WBTB tonight myself.

Yeah, I think it was a WBTB with WILD. That's what I was attempting anyway. I got up around 6 having gone to bed at around 12 or 1. I wasn't ready to get up so I decided to take this opportunity to try a lucid dream. Fed the cats then came back to bed. Allowed myself to go through the SP/HI stuff which happened fairly quickly. I felt like I was falling, everything was all wavy and stringy. Felt like falling down a well or something. Next thing I knew, I was in the dream.

I should mention that at first I doubted whether I was actually dreaming or not. But I slowly started to move my limbs and stuff and it took full effect.

I hope that helps a little.
