      I survived death

I survived death in a dream the other night. I died trying to give someone something, and it involved mechs and stuff, but i am not exactly sure how that part happened.

Anyway, I was in this sort of in-between place that was i thought of as like a dream (/facepalm) and all my friends would pop into the world as they died (we all died at almost the same time, but i was first. We didn't know what to do, so a guide angel came down to give us instructions. So all we had to do was put our gold coin on a stack of silver ones in a well, and she said we would have "eternal peace". Two of my friends were quick to do it, but I held back one of my friends and said we shouldn't rush into this. I was scared that going would cause me to die die, like blankness. So eventually my friend put the coin on the pile and went away. My guide wouldn't tell me anything to expect, so I woke up confused

have you ever survived death in a dream? what happened?

That's pretty interesting. I've never survived death quite like that before. Everytime I die in a dream it just continues from a different point or the dream changes all togeather.

Ohhh yeah this happened to me once. I was on a roller coaster built on the edge of a cliff and the car came right off the rails. Watched myself fall to my death. Next thing I knew after that ages had passed and the whole area was paved over into a parking lot for a supermarket.

Seeing as I was still conscious I figured my body was left there and I existed as a spirit. If I struggled I could move and go anywhere I wanted, but it was tiring and as soon as I gave up a force would bring me right back to the point of my death. It was weird, but actually overall I felt really nice, cause I defied death and all. Also everyone else in the same car were there as spirits, so it wasn't lonely either.

Yeah...I ate a sandwich made of lava during a volcanic explosion (I think the sandwich was symbolic of accepting death). I then woke up with everyone else who had died and was wandering around the city. There were groups of people just hanging out, some people drifting off towards a building. I went with the group going into the building, and it was some kind of lecture hall...I went to the back of the lecture hall where I was informed I would be able to set up my next life. Went through all that, then I went through a bright light and the dream ended and I woke up.

      Was a pretty wild dream.

I've had similar dream once but it was not in LD. It was Ubik-style - after earthquake we gathered in a hotel and then found we are already dead! Rest of the dream another guy and I were trying to escape afterlife .

I survived death in a non-lucid dream a couple days ago. In the dream I had fallen onto railroad tracks and after a couple seconds was flattened by a train moving at high speed, the next scene was just black and a couple minutes after I awoke thinking, thats odd I didn't wake up when i died? Also if I ever commit suicide its not going to be with a train.... just in case lol
