Thread: Went to Pandora again...

Yes, a shared dream. We will exchange keywords that we make up then, and see if we retain them. I have no opinion as if you can meet other dreamers, but why not test it?

JM = Junior Member. People under 15. We are restricted from a LOT of privelages but we get our own little lounge. Just a talk about whatever without increasing post count. :p

Well I was granted access to deep dreaming but I still get the message that says I can't go cause I'm a JM.

No, I had a dream I was waking up. Like a false awakening but I never had a dream before that.

So I saw my clock and I was like "well my clock's off.." so I checked my hands and the left two fingers were blurry so im like "i'm dreaming."

So I got out of bed and started spinning and Neytiri was in front of me. I started walking instictively so I didn't wake up, but I lost my lucidity. I had to rub my hands to gain senses and as soon as I finished saying "wow this dream is real." i went non-lucid.

That morning, turns out my clock WAS on and my left two fingers ARE blurry because of my left eye's bad... so two things may have happened:

I fell asleep as soon as seeing my hands, or I just took dream signs that were actually true for the night coincidentally.

What is project Pandora?

Holy damn, I just noticed how many of you like started doing this Avatar themed dreaming. It is actually seems like a really good idea and place to be in a dream but it's a bit creepy since everyone seems to be doing it and has it in like there sig. and stuff. :s

Almost like Twilight fans except with Avatar.

Offtopic but there sure has been a lot of Avatar talk around here. I'll have to go and see it.

I envy you guys....having LD about Pandora and everything. I have to admit, I was carried away by this film. I badly want to have a LD about Pandora and stuff. Nevertheless, I'm a newbie I started trying to LD 2 weeks ago..I still cannot get a 100% of LD.
I know this means a way to go, but I can't wait to have one ))

Avatar is my inspiration for lucid dreaming.

We were going to try to have a shared dream, I think it's called. Exchange keywords. I don't believe in it but it's a fun experiment!

I met somebody that had a "presence" but I don't remember the keyword nor any dialogue I ahd with them. I guess I'll have to describe looks to the other guy.

I went to Pandora THREE TIMES last night. All lucid!

I was visualizing a scene from the movie. You know where they, erm.. you know.

Basically I'd start running across the roots, yank her tail, she's turn around and laugh. Then I would dig my feet into the moss on the roots and smell the air. She'd tell me to come and we'd go to the trees. I'd say "what is this place?"

"this is where prayers can be heard, sometimes answered. This is where you may also do a reality check."

I modified it just enough so I could get senses stimulated and be reminded to do a RC. Of course, as soon as I hit Pandora I become lucid though? Why? The SIMPLEST thing that can tell you you're dreaming.. YOUR EYES ARE OPEN!

Try that. I also always shapeshift into Jake Sully subconsciously. Pretty useful. :p

I have an idea for you! Instead of shifting into Jake, the character from the movie, try to shift into a Na'vi that is the representation of you! I think I'll try this. It'd be really cool to see what it looks like, yeah?

I disagree with that one guys absurdly long post about DGs, cause I have met my dream guide.

I have asked them for advice, asked them if they were my dream guide, and they appear quite often. They have given me honest advice that worked.

So maybe i'm supposed to be jake. LOL

Often if I dream a movie I just be myself but mingle with the main characters. For instance if it was The Matrix I wouldn't become a character, but I'd join the group of characters.

It's the twilight for dudes. Except cooler

SOunds fun. I think it'd be way cooler to be him though. Cause you're not way shorter than everybody. And you're blue and have glowing skin and tiger stripes. And everybody loves you.

Of course, you can do that by yourself (everybody loving you and being taller) but it's way harder than just shapeshifting into him.

I visualize an easy scene from the movie. The one where they're running and he yanks her tail, then they.. erm...

Simply cause it's easy and you can modify it to make you lucid

The last 2 days I've had dreams of pandora in one way or another (and of course i've gotten back into LD'ing because of Avatar, hah!).

First one involved an Ikran and the scene where Neytiri introduces Jake to them. I vaguely remember touching it and the close scenery.

The last one (last night) involved internal structures of pandora (the human-built metal ones) and also a faint image of an Ikran again (i road it to the base?)

Weird cause I'm not a huge fan of the Ikran... hmm...

I will say I would love to combine Pandora with elements of FMA. Alchemy is FTW and on a Pandora setting - mmm... Lucid adventure for the rest of my life?

I have similar issues with keeping LDs, they fade too fast, or right as I get to see who/what I want.

I'm really impressed with the idea that you went to Pandora to begin with! I have a really hard time summoning both people and places. I'll try the method, and it'll just open up to an empty room, without the person/environment that I wanted! I'll even say aloud who/what I want on the other side, but this rarely works. Or, worse yet, I'll get a the messed up version of the person I want... Do you have an advise?
