Well, this has a weird title but that's what my dream which became lucid was about!

I had this dream the day before yesterday and I can certainly say it was very strange. From what I remember I was at my old school but doing my psychology class which I'm currently doing now. I've had a fear of heights and the steps in the building when very narrow and shaky so I couldn't go on and went back down. Outside I was walking with a group of friends and thought to myself "Why wasn't I this adept at conversation at school". This was my first hint at becoming lucid. I then saw spaceships in the sky which landed in the school field. I knew they were invading so hid at the top of a hill were a friend said "I know where to hide". I followed but the aliens were coming so I hid under grass! Like the grass was a carpet between the grass and the dirt. An alien with a captured child then saw the lump under the grass and the alien said "check the grass" to the child. The child check but didn't give me away. I watched but couldn't take it anymore. I think my lucidity was building up as I just got up and walked towards the aliens. I was diplomatic and asked why they were invading. They all looked really comical to me, almost like they were made of playdoh. They then got up, went into their ships and left, but as they left they crashed and none survived. I am then walking up a street and see lots of colourful balls bouncing up road. I then fully realize I am lucid. I actually compared the experience to when I tried salvia (like LSD but only lasts 5 minutes and is perfectly legal) in real life. I then walked towards a building and began walking through the wall, a post box and then the house. As I did this I lost lucidity and woke up!

I fell back to sleep and was in a bright bedroom. I was walking into the walls to see if I was dreaming or not but couldn't do it! I almost though I was awake until I saw a mirror on a wardrobe. I looked and held my hands up. I only had one hand, which then changed to two hands with three fingers on each. I was euphoric as I was fully lucid now and dancing in front of the mirror saying "I'm dreaming"! But I saw my face and it was hugely distorted with a wild grin. This also reminded me of salvia but I started to not like it so decided I wanted to wake up and woke myself. I now am quite confident wether lucid or semi-lucid that I can wake myself up.

Sorry about the long post but I just love sharing my dreams, especially ones featuring any form of lucidity.
