Hmm... woke up sleep paralysed... dream or real..don't know

Funny thing happened last Saturday morning.. I woke up at 9 o'clock.. then I fell back to sleep... then I had a couple of dreams.. woke up, fell back to sleep.. then I could've sworn I had woke up sleep paralysed, because i couldn't move at all but I knew I was awake.. then I woke up again some time later and I thought.. Hang on a sec, did I just dream that whole sleep paraylse thing up? Because now I don't have a clue whether it was a dream or reality..

Nothing too big but I found it interesting.. I'm thinking it was more likely a dream but I can't be too sure. Oh and btw I haven't Lucid Dreamed before.
      I really want one...

whew, I hate that stuff. It's like when I get ready for school, do all my boring morning chores, and I'm half way through the tedious works of school when I wake up and it's 7o clock and I have to start the chores all over again...

It's entirely possible to wake from a dream and not be able to move. As you may or may not know, when you are in REM sleep your body does something to keep you from moving and acting out your dreams.
I've woken up paralysed a couple of times. It's kinda creepy, but it's nothing to worry about.

Yep, I had that happen to me a couple times. One time I was so scared that I was paralyzed that I tried to scream for help, but I couldn't even do that. I was freakin out when I slowly started getting control of my body (probably starting to fully awaken). I tried one last HUGE scream and ended up with a wimpy moan.

I don't know about you, but another time when I was in this same "stage" of sleep, I started to hear sounds - very real sounds. Hallucinations. I describe these experiences in more detail in my "Signs to look for?" post in the Newbie Zone.

I think this "limbo" stage of sleep is important learn how to control for the WILD technique, but I could be wrong.
