      Congrats on your first LD!
Next time try staring at something for a second until the dream stabalizes instead of spinning, it might work out better

Good job! That same thing happened to me when I had my first dream that I realized I was dreaming. I was being pulled over by a cop and had a lot of "grass" on me. When I realized I was dreaming I wasn't scared anymore and said out loud "wait a second, I'm F'ing dreaming!!!" before I finished that sentence I woke up.

On my last two (only ones so far) lucid dreams that I was able to control, I was surrounded by dream people when I realized I was dreaming. Instead of saying it out loud, I first controlled myself, and then I started flying off the ground. Its pretty funny yo see people's reaction. Also, in my case, the concentration on flying takes my mind off of the excitement that I'm LDing.

ohh yes, very much like any other dream. I myself haven't gotten into any deep conversations with dream characters, only a few words of chat. On my two lucid dreams I was more interested in flying around and changing the location of the sun. lol.

Apparently though, you can even have a conversation with your subconscient. Seeker told me its easier to talk to it if its in the form of a person, animal or object (a muffin perhaps ). I haven't tried it, but I'm really curious to know what it thinks of me, and see if it has any good advice for me.

Let me know if you succeed at it, and good luck.
