That's interesting because the exact same thing happened to me. It was many years ago now but I still remember it like it was yesterday. I was in the lounge of the house I lived in at the time and I kept trying to wake up but couldn't. Eventually I sat down on the couch wondering if I had died in my sleep and this was the afterlife. It sounds crazy but I had no idea what was going on and no way to figure it out. I was just all alone in a neverending lucid dream

That would be fun though.
