NICE. at least 4 lucids this morning.

so yeah. great way to kick off march.

slept from 12:45a to about 6am. woke up, took my multivitamin, bcomplex, b6, and valerian root and laid down at 6:35, probably fell asleep at 7:30. VERY successful WILD/WBTB for me. didn't experience SP in the first dream-entry, but i was pretty much lucid as soon as my first dream started i think. i don't have too much time to type so i'll sum it up and edit later..
i had had 2 sets of "lucid-dream->false-awakening->lucid-again" sessions this morning.. between the 1st and 2nd set i was slightly awoken because i eventually woke myself up. very exciting first set. i flipped some cars, tossed them huge in the air, did some 'kick off the wall, then high into the air and hover' type jumps.. went THROUGH glass as if it was air easily for the first time, twice!! anway, after the first set, i jotted down my dreams and went back to bed.. took me 5 mins prolly.. laid back down, and could actually feel SP slowly kick in. it was VERY awesome. first time i've actually FELT it come on from being awake and standing... usually i'm already asleep, slightly woken, and feel that i'm in SP... anyway, so i get SP and pretty much slip directly into a non-lucid, then do an RC and become lucid. the false-awakening on the second set was very interesting because it was very SP-ish, very audio-hallucinatory, i could also feel my limbs asleep just like as if they had fallen asleep, that exact feeling.
and waking up for the day? that was really cool too, i actually decided to wake up instead of re-enter the dream... i had to struggle out of SP to wake up for the day... it was like struggling to stand up in bed, getting almost all the way up, and realizing your limbs haven't moved and you're asleep still.. it's a fun and interesting experience. first time i've ever had that and it not be nightmare-ish. (had SP a lot when a kid, i sometimes sleep with my eyelids cracked and used to see the room, paralyzed. had no idea what it was when i was little and just thought it was a crazy nightmare) anyway, just relaxed, focused on my breathing and realized i'd be awake soon if i keep trying to move my limbs.

interesting notes tonight: my wrist/arm fell asleep early in the night b/c of awkward positioning, i didn't think it was SP, b/c none of my other limbs were numb, pretty sure it was a pinched nerve, but it was interesting that it sent me off into sleep soon after.
also something that i'm really stuck on is the high-pitched buzzing sound in your ears. and how that changes/does stuff when you're in the SP/sleepy state. it's definitely noticeable more and more as you fall asleep, and it changes incredibly. (for those of you who don't know, your brain creates a sound called Tinnitus when asleep to replicate dream sound, kind of like a white noise)
I'm also testing out the "lucid-alarm" method, can't remember which acronym it is, but it's setting an alarm, ignoring it, letting it turn off by itself, and using the state of sleep you're in with a WBTB/Dream-exit technique kinda. it works awesome, but i need a better alarm. my fan drowns it out... and even when my fan is on, sometimes i sleep right through it. It's a really great trick to remind you 'hey, you're falling asleep, you'll be in a dream very very soon'.
i also find it very interesting how the fact that your brain tries to pick up from your last stage of sleep it was in, when using the wbtb and how we can use that to our advantage in attaining lucidity. very nifty trick

so anyone have a good lucid alarm like that? i have a 15-min long silence clip and then followed by an 12-second alarm that beeps 12 times, it's just not enough to wake me up sometimes. I run my audio through my tv, and it's been a GREAT aid in this technique, but i'd love a better sound file for this method if anyone has any experience with it

Hey Dtc, Grats on a successful series of LD's! I actually don't use the WILD method anymore just because I don't have an alarm that works for me... Also I forget most of the time ...

      Keep it up!

      DTC,
Nice Lucids.. I haven't had any yet. Lucky you.

The technique of the alarms, I think its called a CANWILD.
I've been experimenting with alarms, and I can't find one that works for me.
I'm a very light sleeper and one beep would wake me up. Problem is, my phone alarm beeps until i turn it off...

      Anyways,
      Dream Well!

The alarm CANWILD method is the best I have used so far. I have 2 alarms, one is a computer application alarm, and the other is a MP3 just for CANWILD. Here is the MP3 LINK, you can use this in a player or computer, turn up the speakers very loud and it should do the trick... the speakers need to be very loud in order to wake you up.. because with this method you are supposed to be woke up, several times, and then your brain starts ignoring the alarm but you wake consciously.. then you can either do the technique to enter the dream/obe directly from SP, because you will already be in SP... it gets the hard part out of the way for you lol.. here is the MP3 I uploaded for everyone to use.
