There is a common misconception about Lucid Dreams, and that is that people usually associate them with having Control, or vivid experiences, or anything else related to what you usually read about when it comes to Lucid Dreaming.
A Lucid Dream, by definition, is a dream in which you were aware and conscious. If you were able to think, and rationalize that you were experiencing a dream, then it was infact, a Lucid Dream. You don't need control over the dream for it to be lucid. In fact, you can be completely aware of the dream, but have no control at all over what is going on, and just seem like you're "Along for the ride" so to speak, but still aware of it being a dream.
The first dream you had, would be a Lucid Dream. It wasn't really the most clear of fun Lucid Dreams, but the fact you were able to recognize it being a dream, and think to yourself that it was one, is what makes it one. Your lack of control or doing anything isn't a factor.
The same goes with your second dream, except in your 2nd dream, it sounds like in addition to the Lucidity, you had some control to go with it.
Even if you're in a dream, and then in that dream, have a lucid dream, it would still count as a Lucid Dream, because you are attaining consciousness in the dream state. So, speaking from a technical stand-point, it was a Lucid Dream.
There are alot of people who don't consider themselves to have had a Lucid Dream due to a lack of control, or the dream being short, which is understandable. I myself had done the same thing. I had technically had a Lucid, but didn't consider it one because it was my first one, and I lacked any real control, and it only lasted about 2 minutes.
