FIRST REAL LUCID (sort of my DJ)

OMG!!!! That was the best dream I've had in my LIFE!!!! Last night i had my first REAL LD... It was the best experience, first off last night i was worried because i was going to try a WBTB with Yoshi's WILD tech and i had to wake up early on my day off to go shopping with my mum (lol) so she was going to wake me up, and i was worried because i thought if i had an LD it wouldn't be as long as it could be (if you know what i mean). So i woke up at 6:00AM and stayed up for a while reading my DJ from the night before and then tried to WILD, i had a few unsuccessful trys until i gave up and i don't know how it started but I had an LD after that. It had some DC in it who claimed to be a real person???? So i was so excited that i just accepted it and he was teaching me what i wanted to learn, i asked him if he could teach me to go through walls so he tried to explain it best he could but i couldn't do it to good in the end so i gave up and moved onto flying, couldn't do that to good either so i wanted to explore the dream world before i woke up... I ran into another DC who i just said "Bah i can say whatever i want to you because your not real" she just looked at me and i walked off laughing, then i realized that my mum was going to wake me up early so i expected her to be walking up to me and i turned around and i saw her and i said "Well i don't know if this will work but its worth a shot, so in the morning please don't wake me up" and she just said ok and i thought well thats obviously not going to work and walked off i went back to that person who claimed to be real and said "well if your real, in the morning i want you to prove it by sending me a message or something" he agreed to do it, then a while later i sort of had a false awakening but i didn't wake in my bed? i woke on the PC thinking "OH SH**!!! Maybe i can re-enter" and i did so when i was Lucid again i spun around and changed scenes into a CTF map sort of thing and that guy was there again but he was the enemy, not sure what happened after but it was still the best dream Sorry for the long post JUST SO EXCITED!!!!

I hope so! I cant believe how detailed some things really are in dreams, like when i used to think of being Lucid i used to think that it wouldn't be to high in quality but when i was Lucid i can remember noticing how real things looked.

Exactly why we just take them for reality instead of becoming lucid every time. Our brain's a tricky bastard.

AWESOME!!! I'm so glad it happened for you!! You joined right about the same time I did, in fact I think you're the first person I talked to in here on your intro thread. I was feeling bad for you because it wasn't happening. Sounds like my handful of lucids I've had so far... no control really, just knowing I'm dreaming, able only to control my own actions but nothing I try as far as dream control or powers or anything has worked yet. In fact in my last one (4th one since joining) I couldn't even move through most of it - I was just laying there with my face pressed against my window!! But I guess it will get better. I hope we both have many more!

AH havn't seen you in ages!!! and yes you were the first one i talked to as well happy to here you have had 4 LDs since joining ive had 2 but this was my best one!!! I did have a MASSIVE break from this because i think i was trying to hard, but im happy i had a proper LD and im happy to talk to you again!

Heh, yeah my 1st one was like nothing... over in 3 seconds! I had 1 in jan, 2 in feb, and was hoping to have 3 in mar, but had NONE... until a few days ago when I had this weird crazy lucid where I couldn't move through most of it! I wasn't so much trying too hard in march as I just gave up (partly cause I heard that's when it starts happening). But it really didn't happen again till after I started trying again. What I think really did it is that I had been reading Robert Waggoner's Lucid Dreaming: Exploration of the Inner Self (hope I got that name right) and it really had me thinking about lucids that night. But sorry... this is your thread, I don't want to hijack it!
