I had a dream where i looked at the clock and it said 5:30 and i looked at my watch much later on in the dream and it said 5:25 ( it was one of those dreams where you are late for something). I didn't just dismiss it and think "yeah, thats possible" I actually thought "hmm, thats strange" and then i came to the conclusion that my watch was slow. Could this be that i nearly realised i was in a dream but not quite? I was just wondering as its the first dream where i have actually been aware of thinking thoughts in my dream.

Your mind will do pretty much anything it can to fool you, it seems. I myself came close to having my second LD from seeing my dreamsign - a tornado. I was riding a bike and a tornado formed in the field in front of me. I think, "hey, I need to do a reality check." So I look around for a clock, but since I'm outside I can't find one. The tornado disappears and I go on dreaming. So close. Keep at it!

Yeah thats really close you're actaully making observations which is a major jump. But you know whats funny. I wear a watch everyday and everytime Im Dreaming I never have a watch on. I think someones stealing it before I go in Probably Lowercase.. Do you know its called Insertion whenever you WILD and you go into a Lucid Dream.
