Hello there everyone, I'm new here. I thought I would share this with you to let you all know that meeting someone in your dreams IS POSSIBLE. I was pretty skeptic myself until it happened. Well, it all started with that little phrase Ethan (my boyfriend) and I would say to each other before bed every night..."See you in Dreamland!" We would try to meet each other in our dreams, but it would never work. And then it eventually became our cute little saying before bed each night.
About 3 weeks later, we had given up. We got off the phone and went to bed early. That was the night it happened. It actually didn't start out with a lucid dream. It started out, I was making out with my ex-boyfriend, whom I have absolutely no good feelings for (not even friendship), and I stopped. I said, "You're not Ethan." And he said, "Yes I am!" and then I knew I was dreaming because I would never be caught dead kissing my ex-boyfriend. He got very aggravated and stormed out of the cabin-like place we were in. Then Ethan appeared on a bench in sitting between several shadowy figures. "Ethan!" I said, "We finally did it!" I was so happy! He looked at me the whole time but never said a word. "Where do you want to go?" I asked. I didn't get a response so I said something along the line of "The beach." I hugged him tightly and then we were standing right in the middle of a beach! We went swimming out in the ocean and I remember the sea-level was VERY high. And the water was extremely deep. Your first step in was atleast a 10--12 foot drop. Well, we swam for a while but the waves were coming over my head so I got out while he was really far into the ocean. He came back when he realized I didn't want to stay there. We walked across the street to a sort of amosement park right on the beach. We went on this one particular ride that I remember so clearly. It was a water ride. 1 person would climb upon this big blue-green translucent gem and wrap all fours around it as if they were hanging on for dear life and the gem would float through the little water maze. And on the bottom of the maze were little cartoony paintings for you to enjoy throughout your ride. I remember a painting of a shark that had a note beside of it that said: "Don't be scared of the shark. It's not real." I thought that was sort of funny. *BAM!!* My dream ends because my mom woke me up. Heh, horrible I know. I don't get a lucid dream in 2 months and she has to wake me up of all days. But ANYWAY, that's not what made me believe that my lucid dream was a REAL lucid dream. I knew my mind didn't trick itself into thinking it was lucid...because when I talked to Ethan later that day he said, "I had a really good dream about you last night." I was like "Oh my god! It was real! My mind wasn't playing tricks on me!" and I asked him what it was about!!! He said, "We were at the beach." I was laughing because I was so excited. So I asked him if he was lucid. He said "No, it was just a regular dream".
I believe we met in that dream. I believe the reason he never talked in the dream was because he wasn't lucid. When I saw him in the dream he had a blank stare on his face like . I believe when you're with people you know in your dreams...that you are TRULY with their spirit. The only reason that people don't do what they want...is because they are not lucid. Now, a lucid dream with a partner who is ALSO lucid? THAT would be great! Please let me know if you have had any experiences like this because I feel like I am beside myself right now. Nobody believes me except for Ethan. My parents laugh at me, etc. I came here because I knew you guys would understand. Thank you so much. *hugs*
