      back in the swing

Basically just getting back into the swing of lucidity. I caught a dry spell after dreamviews went down. But now that I can infuse myself with dreaming concepts in the evening, I've slowly been falling back into a more regular lucidity schedule. I had about a five to ten minute lucid last night, where I just focused on shouting voice commands and vividizing everything. But finally getting some solid lucidity in. Now I can get back to my goal of that level of lucidity I'm vying for...

Congratulations! I'm glad to hear that, I just starting having a dream almost garunteed everynight for the past week now. I've had my dry spells too, they suck, they make sleeping, well, sleeping. Great to hear the good news!

Aw, man that's great. I'm IN a dryspell right now, well, I think. I just had my first LD earlier this year. I've set myself a goal (which I don't think is too unrealistic) of having one a month. Is that too much to ask for?

I figured since I had two in January, it shouldn't be hard to have one in a month. Well, last night was my last chance for Feb. and no luck. I even tried the B-6 thing for the first time (which I've always been a bit skeptical about). I even tried NOT trying!. It better happen soon, I've already planned everything I want to do once I become lucid.

Anyway, maybe some of your luck will rub off on me

I don't think that one per month is unrealistic. My longest dry spell since joining DV is just over a month. But of course, life has its own schedule, so sometimes you just gotta take 'em when you can get 'em.

Good luck remembering that list when you do have a LD. I always want to try the Lucid Task of the Month ™, but I hardly ever remember to when I'm in the dream.

Oh, I know - I don't expect to remember either. But I figure if I "train" myself by visualizing them, maybe just one of the ideas will come through.

Welcome back! Dry spells suck and I'm coming back after a LOOOOONG one (almost a year). But I'm on my way back as well (I achieved 3 LDs out of my last 8 attempts). :-)

One lucid dream per month is more than a realistic expectation in my opinion.

It helps a LOT to read and post to this group as it keeps your mind on lucidity. I especially scan the posts before going to bed at night.

May ALL your dreams be lucid!
