Hey guys, I'm back, haven't had an LD in a LONG LONG TIME, but it more than made up for it with the amazing one I had last night! here goes!
I'd been having a lot of trouble getting to sleep at night recently, I would be going to bed at about 12:00am, this is normal time for me. Then not falling asleep until about 3:00am, I then woke up the next morning at 9:00am I thought "oh god I'm still tired" so I went back to sleep, and then a dream occurred...
Well the dream started where I was in some kind of shed in the middle of nowhere. There were lots of people crowded around me and another man. It would seem I was in something similar to the film 'Fight Club', where people fight, hence the name , and this man was punching me, so I pretty much kicked his ass, not much need for detail here, I just kicked his ass, it was a little fuzzy I couldn't remember it too well.
My dream became much clearer as the next person I was to fight came up to me... a very very big muscular man, he kicked my ass. It was close to this point I realised I was dreaming, I noticed I couldn't feel any of his punches, that's what made me realise I was dreaming. It couldn't have come at a worse time for me though, because as I realised I was dreaming he held me up against the walk and started squeezing me hard, I could actually feel him bear hugging me. I managed to fight him off and run outside.
There were several other people had escaped from this shed as well, but they weren't really doing much. I then noticed that I was in the middle of no-where. I then remembered some advice given to me on the forums, that I should take things slow and not rush. I then stopped and spun around on the spot slowly (to make my dream come back to me, I read this on the forums somewhere, it's a handy technique), then I thought I need to fly to get somewhere, so I slowly took off. Very unlike what I did in a previous LD and shot off, getting all excited and ending up ending the dream. So here I was just slowly lifting off of the ground, I then thought I need to go forwards, so I flew forwards, then I thought I need to go a bit faster I'm going miles to slow so I picked up speed, I was just flying through the middle of no-where it was a fantastic experience, I could feel it and everything. I then went above the clouds and stopped and looked down, and thought, "let's have some fun" I tried to make a bomb go off below me, but it didn't work, I really tried hard to visualise it there, but it just wasn't going to happen. It was some point close to this that I woke up.
Is it just me, or is there something about having LDs that makes you feel really happy and excited? Another thing I have noticed, is when I have them I seem to sleep for much longer. Does anyone else experience this?
