Lesson 1: An Introduction to Meditation
This lesson will introduce the concept of meditation, explain what it is and describe the advantages of meditation in everyday life and in dreaming. Two types of meditation - void meditation and focal meditation - will be covered briefly, and some of their advantages will be explained. At the end, there will be a written workbook entry to complete. This will involve a few questions about meditation to determine what your view of meditation is, and what stage you are at with meditation.
Lesson 2: Void Meditation
In this lesson, void meditation will be recapped and covered in greater detail. Its advantages will be described, and the void meditation technique will be explained in a step-by-step tutorial. Additionally, frequently asked questions about void meditation will be answered. At the end, there will be a practical workbook entry to complete. This will involve getting experience with void meditation and paying attention to feelings and sensations while meditating.
Lesson 3: Focal Meditation

Its advantages and similarities with void meditation will be described, and the focal meditation technique will be explained in a step-by-step tutorial. This will involve getting experience with focal meditation and paying attention to feelings and sensations while meditating.
Lesson 4: Bringing It All Together
Before reading this lesson, completing the workbook entries for Lesson 2 and Lesson 3, while not mandatory, is highly recommended, as this lesson builds on the knowledge learned in those lessons and the experience gained by completing the workbook entries. A technique is covered which combines the void meditation and focal meditation techniques to aid in dreaming, lucid dreaming and recall. Additionally, tips for building up a meditation schedule will be given. At the end, there will be a practical workbook entry to complete. This will involve building your meditation schedule and also practicing the combined technique a few times.
