      LonelyCloud's Meditation Workbook

To me meditation is to learn more about my inner self, and to fix problems such as lower the stress, the depression and loads other stuffs that I read about meditation.

The main reason I found my way to meditation (which leaded then me to lucid dreaming) was in school at the graphic design lessons. I felt I wasn't creative enough, so I googled and found out that meditation could boost the creativity and all other good effects.

I'm a beginner in meditation, I've ofc tried it out a couple of times the past half year. I tried it about 8-15 times, often on the days or afternoon. Also been using it before sleep in the beginning when I tried WILD technique.

What I want to achieve with meditation is to be a better person. I want to be thinking more positive, take away bad thoughts and depressions. I simply want it to help improve my life and help me up when it goes bad.
I also want it to help me getting LD, AP & OBE.

Be more active with meditation is one of my new year promises this year, so I will definitly already start now and do a 10 mins before I go to a girl I fell in love with yesterday

So far I've been meditating around 6pm time, for about 5 days, 10-20 min each time. I skipped a few days as I slept over and was alot with my girlfriend the previous days.
Now she have started school again and my internship at a job has ended. So now I'll have time to meditate loads more!

I'll start write down the times I meditate and for how long, and the effects etc in end of my dream journal or any other place and then write it up here once a week or so

Oh my god, it did not work well with the motivation at first. I did try before sleep but I've realized it's quite failing as I eighter fall asleep right after I lose focus the fiirst time, or I give up in 10 min because I just feel like I really wanna sleep, and most of things I felt so far is being relaxed/numb and sometimes it have been half dream and half visualization or something (felt like I knew it was dream/visualization, but somehow it was passive and I couldn't control it any much more than maybe cancel).

Well, here's what I've been writing up:

      19 Jan 2012
      Meditation in my bed
      Time: 18:10 - 18:25
1 jerking in leg. Good visualations, but felt like I was close to fall asleep and dream.

      22 Jan 2012
Meditation with my head on my girlfriends stomach in her bed
      Time: 13:00 - 13:30
Loads of visuals, was so relaxed.

      23 Jan 2012
      Meditation in my bed
      Time: 19:10 - 19:30
Mostly focal meditation on my computer fan + radio outside room. No visuals, flashes or jerks.

      26 Jan 2012
      Meditation in my bed
      Time: 23:30
Used some meditation musics, sounded like asia melody. Got relaxed very fast but somehow I fell asleep after maybe 5-15 min. Woke up 3am finding my headphones laying next to me still playing music.

      26 Jan 2012
      Meditation on the bus
      Time: 12:00 - 12:20
Used the meditation music on my MP3 while riding bus for 20 minutes, was pretty relaxing plus some visualations.

      29 Jan 2012
Meditation on my sleeping girlfriendin her bed
      Time: around 11:00
Used the meditation music, meditated maybe 20 min before I fell asleep. Relaxed but might too tired as I fell asleep.

I didn't really read your last post, but on another note; it is okay to skip days. I've said in one of my posts, I believe that "it's like trying to do a kickflip on a skateboard over and over for hours and hours with no success. after you've taken a break from it and go back to it, your memory is jogged and you are reminded of all the ways you did it wrongly or differently, and proceed only forward from there". That's just my two cents to ya. Keep it up dude! Your goals are just like mine man. I'd LOVE to learn how to AP and OBE! I'd....Just do that ALL DAY Hahahaha. Take care and GL, man!

Aight, I been meditate time to time the past months. Sorry haven't updated it here. Maybe in total I've been meditating 15 times with 10 min meditation, and like 5 with 20-30 min.
Well, I just meditated in bed, after 10 minutes a twitch comes.
I don't get it, it happends like always and somehow it's pissing me off as it feels like it is destroying my relaxing. My whole left body was jumping/twitched, the arm and the leg.
I guess it does this because the brain wanna check if body is asleep?

How do I continue? Shall I just keep on trying? does this happends to everybody?

      [edit]
well I googled and it's cus of relaxing and it may be nothing more to do than just continue practicing?
