- Biography:
- I love the idea of lucid dreaming and have an interest in dreams themselves. I have always found dreaming to be very intriguing, so when I found out about lucid dreaming I flipped out. The idea that you can be "conscious" in a dream, that you can gain control of it and use them to enrich your waking life... is simply fascinating. I am currently trying hard to awaken my mind in the dream world. I hope to soon say that I have had more than just 3 lucids... but at least it's something so far.

I promised myself that I would only open a dream journal on DV when I have lucids to tell about. I keep a pretty detailed journal of my dreams and I have no problem recalling two or even three dreams each night. As of yet, however, I have only had 8 (or is it 7) brief lucid dreams since I started this practice but awhile back. However short, since my last brief lucidity was so enthralling and has given me even more inspiration to continue lucid dreaming practice, I thought I'd finally crack open a dream journal here on DV and share it:

Another brief lucid dream last night, but it was amazing. My mother was on the ground next to me alongside gorgeous plains of bright green grass. A sudden wind picked up and swept me off the ground, it was then I realized the dream. I waved (goodbye) to my Mom as I flew up and then took time to admire the scenery. The sky was a perfect combination of white clouds and clear blue sky, fields of grass glistened and waved from the ground. I took a moment to take in how real it all was. The wind drew me ever higher and a blissful state took me over. I took note of the winds rippling my cloths and tossing my hair, it all felt great. I could direct my movements by tilting my body in the desired direction.
As I closed my eyes, my lucid dream ended.
My level of awareness and general stabilization here was as good as it's been in awhile.
