So, April 11, 2010. Real world. Me, dad, and younger brother went going fishing with a family friend called Mr. Kim and his son, who's my brother's friend.
Background information is important! In the car on the way to the lake, I felt dizzy and had a headache. I was drifting in that half-conscious state, and half wondered if I was sick. The more imaginative side of me played around with the idea that I was about to faint. I didn't know what it felt like to faint, and I imagined it might feel something like this.
When I got to the lake, we set up chairs and the dads began fishing. I was sitting a bit above them, as the ground rose up as a hill. I covered by face with my jacket, and slowly drifted off to sleep.

    dream 1.
I'm at a mall, nowhere I've ever been. My best friend is with me. We're walking around and suddenly Homer, from the Simpsons, appears. His head's been shrunken and he wants his regular size back. Then I take his place, shrunken, but simultaneously I'm carrying myself. Just a regular, silly dream.
    But then I wake up.
I'm at home, my living room. It's exactly the same as my house, and I recognize it clearly. The details are strong in my mind, which is unusual for me. My television, the couch, the table... it's all in the right place. I'm on an air mattress (one I know we own), and sleeping bags (all familiar) are around me. I see Mr. Kim's son and my brother and my dad are sleeping in them.
Now, you have to understand how real this felt. I sat up and wondered, "Am I hallucinating?" I thought I was supposed to still be at the lake. I contemplated whether it was possible that I had managed to sleep through everything. I truly thought I was at home, but that was impossible, wasn't it?
Mr. Kim, apparently awake, comes to sit beside me on the mattress. He asks me if I'm alright. I ask what happened. He replies, concerned and surprised at my ignorance, "Jenny, your heart gave out!"
    I sit, shocked.
Then I wake up for real.

My jacket was still covering my face, and so I could only see my stomach. Even awake, I didn't move. My body couldn't really. I was still half asleep. I feel dizzy and as if I was on a boat. I wondered if I was really back at the lake. I muster up the energy to check briefly, and then drift away again.

    dream 2.

I'm dizzy and can't see. I'm blind but can see; the way dream logic works. I'm with my cousins in a car, with a screen in front of me. It's an internet browser, and I mess around with tabs and delete history like I have a habit of doing in real life, because it makes the drop-down bar look messy.
I run out of the car. Something to do with a werewolf happens.
    It's just another silly dream.

I woke up, but don't move. My mind was whirring, but I didn't move at all. Without noticing, I fell back asleep.

    dream 3.

I wake up in the fishing site. It looks exactly the same, except there's a portable shade thing, with a faucet next to a tree. I believe I woke up in real life, and immediately get up.
Mr. Kim mock-scolds me, "Do you know how much trouble you caused us?" I laugh, not truly thinking about what he said. My dad laughs while my brother and his friend runs to clean their feet in the faucet.
I notice my socks are dirty. I hop over to the faucet, trying to stay on the slate stepping stones (which have mysteriously appeared at some point, but I don't notice) because the sand is hot. The sand is hot, and I don't want to get my socks dirtier...
    Then I woke up.

So that was my dreaming experience for that day. I still remember it vividly, even after almost a year. It was pretty cool, but I was kind of freaked out at the time. Not one of my more exciting dreams, to be sure, but still pretty cool.
    I love dreams.
