Last night I was reading a black-and-white comic book when I realized I was dreaming. I told the book to be in color, but nothing happened. However, as I turned the next few pages, those pages began to be in red. I said, "Not just red, but full color!" A few pages later, green was added to the red, and a few pages after that, blue was added. I thought that I had achieved successful LD control, when yellow started appearing along with the other colors! Some kind of delayed reaction I guess. The appearance of the yellow surprised me so much that I awoke.

Walking across parking lot, I caught the wind and rose into the air and became lucid. I flew through some high tension wires just for fun, and kept rising until I was much higher than normal, looking down at several cities at once, like on Google Earth. One city near the Southern California Pacific coast caught my eye and I wondered if there was any damage there due to mudslides, so I flew down to check it out. As I approached, I saw something that made me very sad, a house halfway tipped over on its side at the edge of a cliff over the beach. But as I flew closer, I saw that the owners had already gutted the house and rebuilt the insides with level floors, and there were children playing inside! It made me feel all warm inside to see such dogged determinism win out over a natural disaster. I awoke feeling empowered.
