    1. WOW! Thanks, that's a really cool idea and lol that was a long climb ^-^

Yeah thanks the problem with my attempts so far is that it was really hard to meditate for 1 h and 30 minutes in order to WILD although I still got the same result: Falling asleep in a WILD attempt before bed makes my dreams so much more vivid and I experience them as waking life and when I wake up I am like "Holy macarony! Was that a dream? :O".
Although my goal is to WILD so yeah this WBTB variation was really refreshing. And.. it forces me to study on my WBTB xD

I lucid dream from time to time, and I can say that I am starting to master the induction part, although I want to fully master it so I can start focusing on mastering Dream Control.
It took Stephen LaBege and many other authors 10+ YEARS to master lucid dreaming, with all the info we got we are probably able to shorten that time, right now I am at my fourth year of active lucid dreaming.
    2. You know, about the rope thing, I found an analogy that I could visualize:

Probably because I'm an MGS3 freak, even though I never played the game, but saw the walk-throughs and cutscenes.

I guess it could be climbing your way to the top, overcoming each doubt with each climb, and eventually reaching the Astral Real/Projection/Travel and Beyond.

Anyway, good luck! Looking forward to seeing your progress as always.
    3. No problem thanks for answering Yeah it makes sense I have as you have seen studied some brain chemistry. And this is basically sleeping all the way until you you should have your first REM period, but you prevent it from happening and in a sense REM deprive yourself, but the brain want compensate for that so as you relax your brain will force itself to REM, making it longer more intense and well that is just great news for us.

I'll make my attempt tonight, I was going to make an attempt last night but my alarm didn't wake me up...

I get motivated to hear that you got to the vibrational stage, basically all you need to to at that point is to wait a little and then aggressively grab the rope that "IS" above your head.

I hope that I get success this night, although if I don't there are lots of other nights ahead of me
    4. Sorry that I didn't see your message on my wall.

In the Beedkin method, I positive that if you were to do that (sleeping 10 PM-11PM or even 11PM-Midnight), as long as it's before midnight, you would do the WBTB for one hour.

If it's after midnight (Sleeping Midnight-1AM or 1AM-2AM and so on), you would only stay up for 30 minutes. And I guess it makes sense in a way, since if you do stay up that late (after midnight), especially after days of inadequate sleep, the purpose for staying up for a shorter amount of time (30 minutes instead of 1 hour if you slept after midnight), would be that your body would compensate and try to balance itself out.

Other than that, I'm only aware of the mechanisms behind the method. I recall having vibrations before, but I wasn't aware of it until I woke up recently, so I'm pretty sure that if I was aware, I could've astral projected.

      Hope this helps.
    5. Good luck to you too then. By the way do you know how the routine would look if my bedtime is 22:00 would the nap then be to 23:00 and the WBTB 1 hour or is it 30 min long?
    6. Good luck! I couldn't attempt it because a guest was going to make an alarm to wake her up to call someone, which would've messed up my attempts. Hopefully I can do it tonight for the rest of the week.
    7. OK Linkzelda, tonight I will try the Bedeekin WBTB variation and see if it can help shrorten the time needed for an OBE or WILD.

During the WBTB I will read some philosophy and perhaps I can kill two birds with one stone. (OMG that expression is terrible..)

    8. Hehe I hope it helps us, it seems to have helped many others so

No I have a very Monroe-ish approach to the fears, "if it can kill me let it kill me" then I will atleast know... Haha no but if I see an demon, evil entity whatever I am more than happy to let it get me some bruises and hopefully it will even give real scars on my physical body or something, then I have physical proof! xD Although we'll see how cocky I am when I have my biggest fear infront of me... ^-^

I really appreciate the help because, this might be the key thing I have been waiting for, I mean I can meditate for 60 minutes, so if this mini WBTB works I'll just have to meditate 30 minutes and that will be like a walk in the park.

Now when I think about it though, I think I remember doing a similar thing by misstake, taking an hour nap staying up and then WILDing and guess what, that time I had a lucid dream I'll try to find it for you.
    9. Yeah, the images that confuses newcomers might throw them off a bit, but someone like you who's into practicing Astral projection knows those entities will not affect you if you don't invite them too.

I'm planning to do this around 8PM as well, it might take a few tries, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I wish you luck!

And no problem, glad to help and make things easier on your journey in mastering this.
    10. Thank you so much for telling me about the Bedeekin's guide of astral projection.

It is basically the same as Monroe but with one key difference that might change the difficulty of things.

The first step was basically a short nap and WBTB before bedtime, and even though I at some point want to master the process completley naturally.
I think I'll prioritise the success of an OBE/ AP more, so I will try this method. And it seems like it have given many people positive results.

His video of doing this scared the cr*p out of me though :S youtube. com/watch?v=0-9hETPjJlo

      Haha take care my friend!
