    Stolen Book

by Mespia on 06-25-2010 at 05:56 PM
The beginning of this dream is hazy. There are a few distinct details, but I am going to leave them out because I'm not really sure where they fit in.

All I know is, I was accused of stealing a book from a schoolhouse. I did steal the book, and when the teacher demanded I return it, I decided that I would.

I put the book in between my teeth and climbed up the schoolhouse (I have know idea why I didn't just use the door). It was a bit precarious, but I managed to scramble around the room, swing under, and get through the window. I put the book back on the bookshelf, but I still had a book between my teeth. The way back was even more dangerous. There were parts of the roof that were extremely narrow, but I made it.

I handed the book back to the teacher. It was wet and a corner was frayed from being in my mouth. The teacher looked at it disgustedly. Then I remembered that I had already put the book back on the shelf. I was good. I took this book back, and I can't quite remember the rest of the dream.

    Easter Eggs

by Mespia on 06-25-2010 at 05:50 PM
I was sitting on a chair in my house at night.

"Huh," I said to myself, "I'm dreaming. Cool."

I got up and walked out the door to my front lawn. It was a nice night, clear and warm. My dad followed me, but kind of sticking to the background.

I decided that I would like to try to fly. I spread my arms and jumped up, ready to take flight. Nothing happened. I tried again. Nothing. I was kind of annoyed, but not really, because these beautiful glowing lights were flying around.

They were small colored lights, orange and pink and blue and green. They were shaped like flowers (a dot of light in the middle with five dots of light surrounding it) but they were flying around around me. For a minute, it was hard to see because there were so many of them. When they cleared away, I looked across the street.

There were these huge Easter eggs on the ground. Not as large as a house, maybe half or three quarters that size. They were beautifully decorated, painted with gold and pink and blue... they were amazing. I walked across to them, and saw some people I knew there. By this time, I had basically lost lucidity. I started talking to them, and I can't remember anything more.

    Barnes and Noble

by Mespia on 06-24-2010 at 05:20 PM
I was going to Barnes and Noble with my friend for school.

"I used to go a Roman Catholic church, but now I go to a Christian church," she said.

"Ok," I said. "So what church do you go to?"

"St. Joe's," she replied. She then handed me something. It was a piece of platic grid about the size of the palm of my hand, with fake flowers woven into it. On one of the bottom corners, there was a small balloon, about a quarter of the size of the grid, maybe larger. It was a happy face balloon.

"Remember when you made this at my party last year?" she asked.

I didn't remember, but I thought it was cool. "Oh yeah." I pretended I did. "Thanks."

We walked over to a long table amid the large bookcases. There were several laptop computers on it, and we both sat down and got to work. After awhile, I wandered off to the end of the table, where there was a turning rack filled with various things. There were a couple of strange looking notebooks, labeled "miniature notebooks". It was a square with about two inch sides. The covers of the notebook were wooden, and you pulled them apart pulling one up and the other down. The paper in the middle opened like a post-it stack. I checked the price. It was five dollars. I thought that was a bit too expensive, so I set it back down. My eye caught something else, though. It was a balloon on a stick.

It was small, the stick being maybe eight inches tall. The balloon was very tiny, smaller than a baseball. It was a yellow happy face. I immediately wanted this, but the price was $9.08. I thought that was way too expensive, so I set it down sadly and went to look at some books.

I saw a search computer that you could use to find books in the store. I searched first for a book on lucid dreaming but I found it had bad reviews, so I searched for another book on it. This one looked good, so I went and found it. It seemed way too short, though, and not something I wanted to buy, so I put it back. Then I remembered that I had wanted to read Ender's Game. I searched for it and didn't find anything. I saw this guy I know also looking at books, and then I went back to the table.

By this time, other people were there, and I had to squeeze in. The computer that I had been looking at before had been closed, and the top of it looked like a Nintendo DS. I thought this was a bit strange - why would there be a large DS on the table? But then somebody flipped it open and I saw that it was a computer.

A few of the people at the table and I went back to my house, because I was going to have a party. I grabbed my sweatshirt.

My other friend, Michelle, came up to me. "Only you would wear that sweater," she said.

I thought about it. Maybe I shouldn't wear my sweater after all. I set it back down and went home. We went up to my room where this other girl, Jessica, and I sat down. She put down her bag, and I put down mine. I was a bit jealous of her bag, because it was prettier.

Several other things happened, and I'm not sure what they all are.

However, after that I was sitting down, thinking that my party that was supposed to be so fun was a complete failure. I was upset, and then I woke up.

    Book Shorts

by Mespia on 06-24-2010 at 01:35 AM
I was sitting in my room, on a couch covered with a blue plastic-like material. I was chatting with a relative of mine, and there were a few markers lying around. This unknown relative uncapped a marker and made a small dot with it on the couch. It was either green or blue.

"I dare you to test out one of the markers, too," she said.

"Ok," I responded. I picked up a red marker and made a small dot on the couch. Suddenly, my relative leaped up.

"You wrote on the couch! I'm telling Dad!" She ran out of the room, still threatening to get me in trouble.

I didn't mind, considering she made a mark too and how much trouble could I get in for this offense, anyway? Then I thought of something. I licked my finger and rubbed it on the dot. It disappeared. That's right, I thought. This is Crayola washable marker.

I finished cleaning up the couch and grabbed this pair of silk shorts I've slept with ever since I was a baby. I wandered out of the room, not really sure where I was going. My bra was annoying me. I pulled it on more comfortably over and over again. My mom walked in in front of me.

"Is your bra annoying you? You should really get a new one. Why don't you go shopping tomorrow?" She said.

"Ok," I replied, happy that I wasn't in trouble for the marker dots. I wandered off again, still holding the shorts.

I sat down after a while, and talked to my little sister and her friend. I didn't know her friend, she was completely fictional. She was about about eleven years old, same as my sister. She had reddish hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail, freckles, and glasses. She and my sister started making fun of me for something, and I got really upset. I walked away into what was probably a dining room.

I sat down on the floor, looking down at the silk shorts. There were all sorts of words on it, like a book. This seemed completely normal to me, I actually "remembered" it being like that before. I was a bit bored, and I didn't know what to do, but then I remembered the shorts. I could read those to pass the time!

Looking at them more closely, I saw that the words formed a rather long table of contents. Apparently, the "book" included all sorts of topics, from merits to how to host a graduation party. Some of the sections had the word "new" next to them in big letters (presumably because they were newly added to the book). Here, I had a bit of a nagging feeling. Sure, my shorts had always had words on them , but I didn't remember parts of the table of contents. Last time I checked, half the stuff hadn't been on it. I dismissed it, though, deciding that I just hadn't paid enough attention.

I decided to start reading, but then I realized that these shorts only had the table of contents on them. I'd have to get another pair if I wanted the actual content of the book. This annoyed me, because I never remembered having another pair of shorts like that. Then I woke up.
