He graduated from High school with a 2.4 GPA which he proudly states is the maximum GPA you can get doing absolutely none of your trig homework and failing all the tests. At 18 he moved into his own apartment because his mother said he was an adult. She subsequently moved to NY to resume her life. He would follow her to NY shortly after, albeit begrudgingly. It was at this time in his life that his great metamorphosis began. He began to study the English language extensively and within a year when he had mastered it, people started to notice the decline in his usage of the word like. He subsequently had no way of making similes and would spend another year finding a healthy balance in using that word. Always unpredictable, he shocked the world yet again by announcing his decision to remove the silent e from his last name, stating that it is pretentious and tiresome on the hands. He would change his mind sometime later as he felt the letter was important to his image. By 2003, Dan had grown bored of NY and decided to move back to Cleveland at the recommendation of his family. His friends welcomed him with open arms, but they were all intoxicated. His return home became a major inspiration on what would become his first great work, a series of comedic essays based on his life experiences. He decided to preserve his creative resources by only drawing from experiences up to the age of six. This decision would prove extremely effective for some time, but would create complications when casting began on an independent movie based on these essays. He would eventually compromise with his producer and cast children in most of the roles portraying him and his friends. Unfortunately, by then it would be too late and in 2005 production would cease due to budgetary concerns. Tired, and depressed, Daniel decided to go on a sabbatical and traveled to most of the places listed in the Beach Boys song Kokomo. He would also develop a habit of saying “I’ve been there.” all throughout the song. For years he would talk about buying every car ever mentioned in a Beach Boys song. Only years later would he finally buy two of them. But he would always maintain that he would “give it all up for one of those gold plated Deloreans or maybe some sitar lessons.” The “Kokomo” trip would be very important to Dan. His triumphant return to Ohio in 2006, sparked controversy amongst some people who claimed that “We were not ready for this.” The photo of his arrival at Cleveland Hopkins Airport would forever become a piece of American Americana like that picture of Janet Jackson getting her boobs groped on the cover of Rolling Stone. Ironically, he would soon disappear from sight at the height of his notoriety. He would remain on the DL for over a year training in different forms of the ancient martial arts. Some effective arts, some that just looked really impressive. Others that were neither. He would spend all of the money that he had saved from birthday and Christmas checks on a high tensile carbon steel full body suit with full rotation Kevlar joints. With three months left to his third great reemergence Dan had to work swiftly. The bulk of his preparations were complete, but there was still the issue of his hideout. With little time to spare, he would fashion couch cushions into a fort big enough to crouch under. These were to be temporary accommodations, but would later be mentioned in a court trial, the results of which he would appeal and win. He hasn't been seen since.
