I would look into the lucid dreaming tutorials they have on here. I haven't had any bad nightmares in a long while and all the ones I've had I was lucid for and was able to control and bring the nightmare to an end. |

I have had poor sleep and nightmares since I was a child my grandparents were particularly bad sleepers so my mum feels it may be inherited but as I have got older they have gotten progressively worse, I have been to hospital and participating in sleep testing and had my brainwaves monitored, which led to no conclusions, I have had a sleep therapist analyse me and he could not work out the reason for my nightmares I have tried homeopathy pretty much everything and nothing works, particularly bad nightmares result in me scratching my boyfriend in my sleep to the point where i draw blood but I don't know Im doing it, I wake up in different locations through sleep walking the worst was waking up in the park in my pjamas or having the police called because i was screaming (completely unaware) and the neighbours thought someone was being murdered, i have tried changing my diet everything but nothing gets rid of the nightmares, also when friends or family have tried to wake me from a nightmare they just cant nothing wakes me up, Does anyone else experience really bad nightmares, any suggestions how to improve them? |

I offer only my humble opinion, based on limited experience. I will do the best with what I have; if you ask more of me I shall fail.
You should try to look at your nightmares more like messages about your problems. They are just trying to encourage you to think about your problems and face negative personality traits you have. |
