      Lucid Nightmare

      Hi,
Im new to this forum but i needed to ask some people with experience about this, as i cannot sleep because i fear it will happen again.

I was in spain, walking back from a beach to the hotel i stayed at in the summer. I was with this girl i have never met before in real life but i felt strangley attracted to her. I suddenly said as we were walking back "Your not real, this isnt real" i have no idea why, i just said it. As soon as i said that, she turned round and stared at me blankly, and looked sort of creepy. (Similar to the way the people in the dreams in inception look when the girl changed too much in the dream if youve seen that.) So anyway, after she stared at me for a few seconds, i suddenley had a really scary horrible feeling thats hard to describe, and woke up. Well i thought i had woken up, because i could see but i couldnt move, and i tried to shout to my mum to come and wake me up properly but i couldnt. Then i went into a completly different dream where all i remember is me and a few other people (cant remember who they are) and a different girl that i think was my girlfriend in the dream, because all i remember was we were sitting on a sofa in a room about to kiss, and then some evil guy (cant remember him) took here and killed her. I tried to shout for my mum to wake me up again, but i still couldnt shout (even though im pretty sure i opened my mouth in reality). I then went straight into a dream where i dreamt that i woke up and got out of bed to and tell my parents about what happened, and i went all the way into the kitchen, thinking it was reality, and explained what happened to my parents, then looked at their faces and couldnt recognize them, then i shouted "and this is a dream too" and the same thing happened as with the spain dream before i woke up.

All of these dreams took place after waking up at 7, then realizing i wasnt going to school and going back to sleep.

(That last dream reminds me of a dream i had a few weeks ago where i was in a long corridor that i think belongs to a game i had just bought and i was the character in the game anyway, it turned into a nightmare and i woke up in another dream where i dreamt i was in bed but i couldnt move, and i could see half my room but i could still see and hear the dream as well. Just thought i would include that in case its related.)

Anyway, if anyone could make any sense of this or help with forgetting it because i really cant get it out of my head.

      Thanks,
      Matt

Well it sound you had a lot of false awakenings after you thought you woke up in bed, but was still a dream. And then reason you couldn't move in your bed was because of sleep paralysis.
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.
