Thread: No more Nightmares!

Hello everyone,
Just thought I'd share an experience I thought was really cool. When I was young (around grade school) I used to have nightmares all the time which I'm sure all of us had as kids. Then one night I fell asleep and was having this nightmare were I was being chased by some monster in a dream. Well, after a few minutes I suddenly realized I was in the dream and became lucid! This was my first time experiencing it ever. As soon as I realized I was in a dream all my fear went away and weapons just started appearing in my hands. Let's just say I taught the monster a little lesson . The thing is ever since that experience I've never had a nightmare I can recall since then! Lucky me I guess since I was young when that happened. But yeah, after 8 years or so I started looking into what exactly happened to me and that's when I started learning about lucid dreaming. Just thought anybody might like that who's trying to get rid of nightmares.
