Nightmare interperetation? Invisible figure

Hey, I'm new at this. I'd like to see any possible interperetations of this, and I assume this is where to post it since I'd classify it as a nightmare? Lol thanks I'm on a street that I don't particularly recognize.... I feel intense fear, I know something bad is near. In an effort to escape, I head to a garage on the left side of the street (almost every house on the street has a street facing garage door). It opens, and I believe there was a pipe or something. On the pipe sat two black tarantulas that didn't move at all. In front of the garage were three ants or termites, but they had severely swollen bodies and comparitively tiny heads, I almost thought they were tics at first, but were either ants or termites. I felt as though I couldn't pass that way, and started back down the street the direction I came. A garage on the right side opened, and I could tell an invisible figure was there. I was petrified. It started coming toward me, and I knew it despite not seeing it... Somehow I knew beyond a doubt it was the devil, both in the dream and after I woke up. (I'm a Christian) and I remember telling myself that God is more powerful, and still full of fear, ran screaming toward the figure and woke up heart beating super quickly. I never entered any of the garages, houses, driveways, or yards. This happened two night's ago... Thanks for your help!

Not skilled in dream interpretation, but I would say it was just a bad dream. Of course, if arachnids and ants have some special meaning for you, they may mean something in your dream. Sometimes I too dream with invisible bad things, which I call ghosts. Try to say a prayer before bed and when you lay down, close your eyes and repeat to yourself that you are protected by white light of devine protection and love, and visualize this dome of white light around you or your room or house. I have to agree with gab. Has anything like this happened before? Or has this nightmare been repeating? It may have been just a normal random nightmare generated by your creative mind. Just know that nothing can really hurt you, and that you'll be safe.

Hi, I don't think there is only one nightmare that is simply a nightmare without meaning. You walk along that road and you have the possibility to enter garages on the left and the right. That road is your life and this left-right thing is of importance. The left side is a symbol of the intellect, reasoning power. You first drift to the left side but there are creatures that frighten you. Obviously theres something in your life, that unsettles you, something you can't handle like you always handle things. It is something where your mind can't help you anymore. So in your dream you move to the left side. The left side is a symbol of intuition and the unconscious. There is life on the right side too but it is so unfamiliar to you, that you are frightened of it. That means you are not in contact with your unconscious, theres no link between consciousness an unconscious. But there are contents, that are now important for you in your life. Contents to solve your problem and to do that, you have to face, whats coming out of the unconscious. Don't be afraid, it is not the devil, it is a part of yourself that wants to be integrated. You can try this: lay down and make a daydream journey. Imagine that you are again in front of that garage and you look at that invisible figure. Speak to that figure and tell him/her that you are not afraid anymore and that you want to talk. Ask him or her to help you and aks him / her to appear again in the next dream you have. This often works for me and most times the terrible creatures suddenly loose their terrible appearance and transform into a more pleasant form. By loosing your fear you are able to talk to that figure and find out what your unconscious has to tell you. Pleasant dreams. Kristina

Nice ideas from all of you, but that's really interesting, Kristina. I didn't know if there were any special things about tarantulas or ants/termites appearing in dreams. That's a really neat idea, and I'll try to do that... And I have had dreams of invisible figures 2 or 3 times before. The dreams aren't the same, just the figure. I'm stressed a lot, maybe that's my mind saying it's not able to help me in some situations. Thanks again, everybody, I'm still content to read any more suggestions as well. happy dreaming
