Question Most aweful nightmare I've ever experienced

      Hi there,

I'm new to the site but I thought I'd post about this awful nightmare I experienced a month ago:

It's not clear to me as to how my dream started off but from what I remember, I was standing in a small white room whimpering away because I basically had this miniature sized shark biting on my right foot. I was calling out for help and I was actually specifically calling out for my stepfather and my boyfriend. I did this for what it seemed like a very long time and no one would respond. The shark would bite down every few minutes, I actually felt the pain increase every time and I'd just be balling my eyes out (probably because of the pain but also because nobody responded). Finally the little shark just chowed straight into my foot and I just screamed out my fathers name and he came through the door asking what's wrong, I looked up to him and said something along the lines of, "it bit me even harder". When I said that, I was actually in the middle of waking up and I kind of realised that I was saying it out loud but I had difficulties saying it because I was sobbing at the same time and my boyfriend had to help me snap out of it.
My boyfriend fell straight back to sleep and I just rolled over with tears still running down my face and fell back asleep. Told my boyfriend about it that morning and he said he didn't even remember waking me up, haha :S

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

Yeah, normally I would not like a miniature shark near me, but your description made me laugh. Sorry. I understand, though. Dreams are just so strange, gotta love them. Any interest in lucid dreaming? Let us know, we can help! Happy dreams

Haha no worries, I found it odd too. I guess I'm grateful that it wasn't a normal sized shark.
I'm looking through others experiences, it seems quite interesting!
